Benjamin glanced at her and offered, "And I'll assist you." Although he couldn't fight, he could provide support.

The system had returned at some point and now hovered above the three of them. It looked as if it was ready for action.

Benjamin took a glance at the tortoise and thought about it before reaching out to pat its shell. A trace of golden light seeped from his palm into the tortoise's body, and the floating system trembled before stretching its limbs.

Shannon watched as a faint golden glow emitted from the system to merge with the surrounding black smoke. Then, the energy of the black smoke seemed to change subtly.

Before she could dwell on the details of the transformation, the system suddenly sprang into motion as if pumped with adrenaline.
