Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1337

"How's that helpful? You might as well not say anything!" Hank looked at him with furrowed brows. "How will she stop the tragedy from happening with this limited information?"

Not even Shannon could do it; she was only human, after all.

Receiving Hank's critique, Jordan showed little to no emotion on his face. He didn't even reply to him but turned to Shannon with a dark and unclear gaze instead.

"I believe Ms. Jensen would have a way to approach it."

The tone in which he said this carried a hint of probing, yet inexplicably, there was also a subtle undertone, as if there was more to it.

Her eyes wavered, and she looked at Jordan with an added hint of scrutiny.

Hank, on the other hand, scrunched his brows together. "What is it that you can't tell until she resolves it? Why not just say it now?"

What was the mystery for?

His roommate only cast a sidelong glance at him before casually saying, "Oops, sorry. I didn't pay attention and thought it was a tablecloth."

Jordan was silent. He grabbed the clothes and heavily tossed them into the garbage bin before everyone.

His roommates quickly became offended, tossing their food at Jordan's feet in anger. "Are you trying to pick a fight with me? It's just some clothing! What—do you want me to buy you new ones or something?"

The roommate seemed ready to get physical, but the other guy quickly stopped him. "Hey, calm down."

After much persuasion and back-and-forth, the person continued screaming, "His face fucking annoyed me!"

The three roommates sat down again to eat, but none of them noticed the look Jordan wore while standing with his back to them. Through the mirror, his gaze locked onto the person, cold and detached, as if he were looking at a lifeless corpse…
