Andre couldn't be bothered to hold onto the mystic practitioner any longer. He grabbed his phone and began dialing his wife's number.

The phone rang, and no one picked up. His look of initial disbelief slowly twisted into pain and anguish.

Then, the ghost bottle in Elliot's hands began to shake violently again. Perhaps Callum heard the conversation that his mother had hired someone to kill him.

In the bottle, Callum who'd been huddled silently all this time was now standing up. His malevolent energy crashed furiously against the wall of the glass bottle.

Shannon felt a growing unease. "We need to find his mother at once."

Skylar and the others nodded in agreement. Without waiting to say more to Andre, they turned and made for the door.

Andre was initially confused. When he realized something was wrong, he quickly called after them, "Wait! Do you guys know this stuff? Did the spell he was chanting earlier hurt my son?"

While Andre grabbed Mike, the latter eyed the increasingly restless Callum in the bottle and said, "Don't worry. It didn't hurt him at all."

Shannon glanced at the so-called mystic practitioner in the room and added, "They're frauds."

The mystic practitioner was utterly speechless. Though that was the truth, Shannon's bluntness might've offended him a little.

Andre let out a sigh of relief. For some reason, he trusted the kids.

Shannon's team didn't linger any longer. They swung open the front door and were about to leave when six mini demons rushed toward them. Cornelius led the group with a cold face.

The mini demons glared at them furiously. "You ditched us on purpose! Don't think you can just leave us behind. We've memorized your scents!"

"Do we have to go in there?"

"I don't want to. Places like this make me uncomfortable."

Shannon's team hadn't expected Callum's mother to be hiding in such a place either. They couldn't enter the place easily since they were holding the ghost bottle, not to mention the mini demons.

Shannon looked down at the ghost bottle, where Callum was slamming against the seal. After a pause, she asked with a solemn expression, "Do you want to go in and see your mother?"

She watched Callum burn with fires of grudge and said, "If you can suppress your ghastly energy, I'll take you to her."

Skylar instantly disapproved of her words. Bringing an evil spirit into a church was blasphemy against the gods.
