Heiress Unmasked: Shaking the World With Geomancy novel Chapter 1132

Shannon turned to her teammates. "What do you guys think?"

It was announced that the ghost bottle they chose would affect their second round in the tournament. Naturally, she had to decide with the group.

Calm as always, Skylar affirmed, "Sure."

Celine, too, nodded in agreement.

Though still hiding behind Elliot, Lexie toughened up and said, "If you're not, I won't be either."

Mike, afraid of losing out, stuck out his head and shouted, "I'm not concerned either! I chose him because he looked like a tough one!"

"W-Whatever you say, Shannon," affirmed Elliot.

It was a unanimous decision, and Shannon was ready to store the bottle carefully. As for the other three, they naturally wouldn't touch it.

Though that was their intention, the unexpected always hit without warning.

Just as Shannon had grabbed the ghost bottle, they suddenly heard one of the glass bottles cracking from the shelf.

The group quickly looked up, only to see that the bottle in the center—perhaps affected by the relentless battering of the malevolent energy inside—had developed a faint crack along its surface.

Before they could react, the malevolent energy spilled from the crack and ripped the talisman off the bottle's opening with a swift flick!

In an instant, the three evil spirits, previously sealed within, erupted from the bottle, their malevolent energy surging as they barreled straight toward the group.

Standing at the forefront, Shannon and Skylar faced the three charging malevolent energies head-on and unhesitatingly shot out their talismans. "Cease to be!"

Two beams of talismanic glow shot out before them, forming a barrier that knocked the three evil spirits back.

Seeing the spirits circling and charging at them once more, Shannon didn't hesitate. She quickly tossed two talismans, summoning a protective barrier that enveloped Mike and the others.

At the same time, she shoved the unscathed ghost bottle into Mike's arms. "Guard it."

The sound of her chant faded, and from the talisman emerged a glowing mystic chain that tightly bound one of the evil spirits.

She would've preferred to deal with them directly, but since these three evil spirits were part of the tournament, she couldn't just kill them at will. For now, she could only focus on capturing them.

The audience watching the livestream outside felt a sense of foreboding at the sudden turn of events. Even the lecturers organizing the tournament were taken aback to see the evil spirits escaping from the ghost bottles.

Yet before they could take necessary actions, Shannon had already effortlessly seized one of them.

Solomon heaved a silent sigh and turned to the two lecturers from the Seastone School. "Your fellow student, Shannon, is quite impressive."

Logan chuckled. "She's okay. She has decent talent but tends to only focus on her favorite subject, which is why her talismanic skills are stronger than those of her seniors."

The lecturers from the Jamborough School were speechless. Almost every person in mystic arts focused on mastering a single art, so calling it a "favorite subject" was hardly fair!

Tone that arrogance down!
