Though Elliot's voice was soft, everyone heard it clearly and couldn't help feeling surprised.
As someone who was socially anxious, Elliot rarely expressed his emotions openly. This was the first time he'd ever announced he disliked someone, and that would mean Cale was truly insufferable.
But Shannon knew why Elliot felt this way. It was because of Cale's earlier dismissive comments about Eddie, wasn't it?

The group continued walking out as Isaac contacted the local reception staff from Jamborough.
As the host of this year's college tournament, Jamborough School of Mystic Arts was responsible for receiving students from the other two participating mystic schools.
Just as the group stepped out, Isaac barely got through the call when a tall man in a black coat approached with four men dressed as drivers tailing him.
They walked up and greeted Shannon first. "Ms. Jensen, I'm Niall Levy, the director of Jensen Corporation in Jamborough. Mr. Jensen instructed me to take care of all your needs, along with those of your team."
Then, he turned to Logan and Issac and politely added, "The cars are waiting outside, and the accommodations are ready. Please come with me."
Isaac and Logan exchanged glances but eventually accepted his kind offer.
The drivers behind Niall swiftly stepped forward and took the luggage from the group. Then, they proceeded grandly out of the station.
The group managed to keep their composure after seeing the luxurious minivan waiting outside, but when the car drove them to a villa near Jamborough School of Mystic Arts and revealed its lavish interior, Mike finally lost his cool.
He was once again shocked by how wealthy people could be. Then, he turned to Shannon almost pleadingly and asked, "Shan, are you sure your dad doesn't have a long-lost son who looks just like me?"
Shannon snapped, "No."
Skylar walked out expressionlessly, and Mike couldn't hold back from calling out, "Skylar…"
They were supposed to be a team, so how could Skylar leave just like that?
Skylar met their eyes and said, "I'm just going to pick a few things up. I'll be back."
The man frowned but said nothing.
As the two walked out, Lexie couldn't help but voice her worry, "Will Skylar get bullied if he goes back just like that?"
Everyone in the room turned to her at her words. There was an odd expression on their faces.
Who had she been talking about getting bullied? Skylar?
