Go Away, I’m a Billionairess Now By Evie Cole Chapter 26 How Can He Be So Kind?
Samara and Jimena ran into a traffic jam on the road. When they arrived at the hotel, there were still five minutes before the agreed time.
After getting out of the car, Samara stepped on her high heels and walked inside.
The private room was on the fourth floor. It was mealtime, so many people were in the elevator and the elevator stopped one floor by one.
Samara looked down at her watch. When she looked up, she suddenly saw a familiar figure outside
the third floor.
It was Gloria.
Samara raised her eyebrows and looked away. At this time, the elevator door slowly closed.
In just a few seconds, the elevator stopped again. Samara walked out.
When she reached the door of the private room, she saw the door was not closed, and Triston inside seemed to be on the phone.
His voice was not loud. When Samara pushed open the door, she vaguely heard the words “Ms.
Humphrey.”
Samara raised her eyebrows and glanced at Jimena beside her.
Jimena nodded and raised her hand to knock on the door. “Mr. Garner.”
As soon as Jimena finished speaking, Triston hung up
the phone.
Samara walked in and smiled at Triston, “Sorry, Mr. Garner. There was a traffic jam on the road. I
am late.”
Triston looked at her and smiled. He did not seem to mind her being late. “It doesn’t matter, Ms. Novak. Today is Friday. It is normal to have a traffic jam.”
“Sorry.”
“Since you feel sorry, you should punish yourself with a glass of wine.”
After Triston finished speaking, he asked thoughtfully, “Ms. Novak, can you drink? If you can’t, I’ll get someone to withdraw the wine and change it to juice.”
Samara sat down and looked at Triston. She did not know what he was up to and why he was so
polite.
However, Samara knew that drinking was a way of dealing with people in business and she could
not avoid it.
She thought, how could Triston be so kind?
But since he had already said, Samara wanted to see what he was up to.
“Obedience is better than politeness. Thank you first.”
Triston waved his hand and glanced at his assistant. “Aidan, help me send Ms. Novak and Jimena
home safely.”
“Okay, Mr. Garner.”
When they arrived at the entrance of the hotel, Triston got into the car. Aidan turned to look at
Samara. “Ms. Novak, I will send you off.”
“Thank you.” Samara raised her eyebrows.
Samara and Jimena did not buy a car. Now they felt it seemed that it was more convenient to buy a
car.
Aidan did not talk much. Samara sat in the back row and Jimena sat in the front passenger seat.
Samara drank a lot tonight and felt a little dizzy along the way. When the car suddenly stopped, Samara could not help but frown.
