Genetic Ascension novel Chapter 1236

Chapter 1236: Prove

Sylas had little mercy on the Duchess’ body—not that it mattered much. With the gap between their raw physical stats, it would have been quite difficult for him to hurt her even if he had the intention to do so, let alone now.

However, it was hard to say if that would last for very long at all. And even if he could hurt her... what wasn’t hard to say at all was that he would care very little.

Even now, he didn’t know what this woman’s name was or if she was truly known as the Duchess. All he could feel was how tightly she wound around him, how wet she felt, and the different sensations gripping him.

And yet, he almost instantly decided that Cassarae tasted far better. There was a certain wildness to his wife that he could hardly get enough of—the way they fit together like a glove, how even when her body had reached its limits and couldn’t continue on, her Will would still burn on like an endless ember.

Maybe that was the real differentiating factor.

His strength was little more than a fraction of the Duchess’, and yet he could feel her riding an edge that she would soon fall down the other side of. He chipped away at her Will so easily, stripped her of all her dignity as though it hadn’t had much worth even to her, broke her down as though she had little worth at all.

With his wife, even if he ravaged her to the ends of the earth, if he pissed her off beyond a certain point she would sooner cut his member off than be with him again.

The Duchess, however... he could tell that she didn’t have that sort of backbone. He could take, and take, and take beyond even that, and she would still come crawling back.

It wasn’t just a matter of Compelling Gaze. She had fallen like putty in his hands without him using the Gene Talent in the first place. There was a reason she had appeared in his room.

Back in the hall, Sylas hadn’t dared to use it because it would be easier to detect by third-party observers. Her moaning, her hardly capable of controlling her legs, the embarrassing state she had been left in where Sylas’ telekinesis had to help her back to her table...

That was all Sylas and Sylas alone.

If a mere dance could have her so weak in the knees, she was barely holding herself together now.

The only things holding her up were the leverage Sylas had with one palm pressing the side of her head against a wall and the other holding up her hip.

By now, her eyes had rolled so far back there were nothing but the whites remaining, her speech slurring in incomprehensible dribble that varied from begging for more to apologizing for her lack of decorum.

It was pathetic.

And yet, Sylas found himself loving every minute of it.

But then it all faded into the background. He had felt it the moment he acted. He knew that he was correct. The last piece.

\[Madness Control]. Demon meat. And a completely different sort of Demon flesh.

As he had expected, there was something about procreation and lust that was tied to his evolution. Every time he underwent a great change to his stats and Genes, his body always reacted accordingly.

That fire to spread his Genes was the last piece to it all—the piece he needed to weed out the weakness inside of him.
