Chapter 194 

Calix opens the door and holds it for us. Walking in I am in awe, I haven’t ever been in a place like this. The glass chandeliers are huge. The whole place is busy, the women look exquisite and expensive, just like the men do. 

I can see what Marcello meant, the few places I have been to in the city. are either underground places, or just nice. 

We walk through and I ignore everything, just fascinated by the place. We end up in a private room, and Demitri sits pulling me next to him. His head rests against my shoulder, and it is strange. I’m used to his usual self. 

“Can you get Alesandro please Mandy?” Calix smiles at the woman as she hands them a drink and me. 

“Sure thing Calix. I will go get him now.” She turns to walk off and Marcello stops him. 

“Don’t mention we’re here. Just tell him someone wants him. I have a feeling he will run if he knows we’re here.” Marcello smiles at her and 

winks. 

Nodding she leaves and the door shuts. 

“Right, we find out why, and how. That is more important than anything right now. If we have to use force to get answers, fine. However, we need answers.” 

Calix talks while keeping his eyes on Demitri. 

“I know, I know.” Demitri sits up and releases me. A moment passes before the door opens and a guy walks in. He looks at them and 

considers walking back out. 

“Don’t run, sit.” Calix points to the chair in the middle of the room. I watch as he walks in and sits. 

“Wasn’t running Calix. I thought it would be quick, so I was about to ensure Henry knew I would be longer.” He sits back trying to look relaxed but clearly, he isn’t. 

“Okay, 15th, 19th and 21st, what do those dates have in common Alesandro?” Marcello walks around him waiting 

“Not sure.” He shrugs his shoulders. Demitri stands, and I look towards him. 

“Don’t bullshit Alesandro, the truth now!” Demitri shouts and Alesandro laughs. 

“Those are the dates I took thousands out of here.” 

I stare shocked, hell he said it like it was nothing. Is he crazy? 

“Why? There has to be a reason.” Marcello leans forward looking at him. 

“Can’t remember.” His shoulders shrug. 

“Try again, if you answer wrong, you lose a finger or two.” Demitri steps forward.. 

“I’m going to lose them all in the end anyway Demitri.” Alesandro laughs, and I watch as Marcello moves in front of Demitri and hits Alesandro, a minute passing before he stops.

“Now answer, why?” Marcello leans over him, waiting. 

“Because I could?” His face shows he is lying, and I watch as Marcello begins to hit him again. 

“How about now? Before you answer just think, the quicker you. answer the quicker it ends.” Marcello waits. 

Alesandro looks around him at me, his head tilting slightly. 

“I see you have a new toy.” Everyone tenses. “I heard she used to charge by the hour. To be honest, though, she isn’t even worth the air we breathe.” 

Demitri moves, and I watch as Calix and Marcello try and pull him. back, moving he hits them and grabs Alesandro. Calix stands holding his nose, as Marcello tries pulling Demitri back only to be hit again. 

Moving I walk around, my hands grasping Demitri’s face, so he faces me. His hands stop hitting Alesandro. Once Demitri’s eyes are focused. on mine I smile. 

“I’m bored and have no idea how to gamble. Show me?” I have no idea. if Alesandro is alive, but if he is, hopefully, it helps if I get Demitri out of here. He seemed so calm, I even saw Calix and Marcello relax. realising he was not on edge. 

“Never?” He looks at me confused and I nod “But Dean?” 

“Gambled constantly yes, but I only saw him when he drove me to places. Please?” I smile at him waiting. 

“Okay little bird, for you.” He pulls me out, and I hear the hushed whispers of Calix and Marcello behind me. 

“What type of gambling? Cards, Roulette, or something else.”

I look at him.

Nodding he pulls me through with him, stopping at a table, he pulls me onto his lap. 

“Okay, little birdie. You have fifty thousand. Let’s start with roulette. Hurry with her chips.” Demitri looks at a man and he nods, quickly handing me them. 

“So, what do I just put them on anywhere?” I look at him and he laughs. 

“No little birdie. Each bet has different odds. Putting it on black is great, but won’t win much. It’s fifty–fifty. Now, if you put it on say the number three and you won, that would be amazing. So choose.” 

I look at the table. 

“So I choose 31, now what?” I look at him waiting. 

“Well, now you choose how much.” 

Laughing I shrug my shoulders. 

“Your choice little bird, go crazy.” 

Well, he said go crazy. Moving I push all the chips onto the number 31, and he stares at me shocked. 

“By go crazy I meant to have fun, not put it all on. Are you crazy?” He looks at me and I laugh nodding. 31 is my birthday and the only number I could think of. I watch as it spins the ball moving. 

“So, I guess after the ball stops and I lose we should go.” I smile at him

Turning I look at the guy who spun it. 

“Not me ma’am, I enjoy my legs.” He smiles and I nod. So I won? I actually won? Sitting we play a few more times, and Demitri keeps his arms wrapped around me. Dean not taking his eyes off us. I’m just glad. Demitri hasn’t tried killing him. 

“How much is she down? I will think of a suitable punishment.” Calix laughs sitting opposite me. 

“She’s up. I’m still convinced it’s beginner’s luck.” 

“Let’s see then cub.” Marcello looks at me. Looking at the board I debate what to do. 

“Tell you what little bird, win, and I fuck you.” Demitri’s words whispered in my ears, moving I wiggle on him feeling his cock harden. “Sit still little bird.” I laugh and nod. Moving, I push all the chips, ensuring they are in the middle of 9 and 12. 

I watch as he calls final bets before it begins to spin. I watch, wondering if Demitri is been honest, I hope so and I better damn win. I watch as it slowly, the ball bouncing slightly. A slight scream escapes

“Home, both of you.” Standing we walk out and I can’t help but smile. 

“Demitri you’re coming with me, Daisy go with Cal.” I pout slightly and laugh. Of course, he is sending me with Calix, so he can tell me no it won’t happen.
