I’ve not seen Eros since yesterday. He’s kept contact, however, and messages me often. He’s working on getting a contract with someone whose business is falling. 

I’ve learnt that Mr Pierce does a lot. Not only is he in real estate, but he is also into house flipping, business flipping, antiques, and many other things. 

He’s got a lot behind him in terms of his business, which is amazing considering where he started.

I look up and see Lucy walk in with a box. 

“This was just delivered for you,” she says as she hands it to me and leaves. 

“Now he’s sending you gifts,” Clara laughs and I open the box, I smile down at the note.

I can’t stop smiling. The dress looks stunning, and on top is a necklace. 

“You’re so fucking lucky,” Clara says. 

“No, you are. After today, you’re free of this place,” I say as I turn to face her. 

“What?” She sits shocked. 

“I’m buying you out, and you will have money in your bank for your mum’s medication: Find a job. There should be enough to last a few months,” I explain. 

She moves and hugs me. 

“Thank you, I swear down I owe you,” she cries. 

“You don’t. We look after each other, and it was worth every penny.” I say. “Come on, let’s go grab that contract and free you,” I say. Grabbing the box, I walk out of the room with her following. Getting to Elon’s office, I knock, and he calls us in. 

His eyes go from Clara to me. 

“I need you to sign Clara out of her contract. I’ll send the buyout

free,” I say. Placing the box down, I look at him. 

“Are you sure you want to do that?” He stands and looks at me. 

“I’m sure; get her contract, please” I say. Sighing he nods and pulls it out, I watch as he signs it, and hands it to her. 

“All done. I trust Bunny Wild to send me the cash,” he turns from her to me. 

“Right now,” I say. Taking out my phone I transfer him the money. 

“You can leave, Clara. Alexis and need to discuss some things,” he says, and I shake my head. 

“I have plans,” I explain, but his hand grips mine. 

“You will have time to do that, but we need to speak. Leave Clara,” he looks at her. She stands and hesitates. 

“It’s fine. Get out of here. We will have celebration drinks tomorrow,” I say. 

“Why do you want her?” Clara looks at Elon. 

“Because Bunny Wild here has been working behind my back; now fucking leave,” he shouts at her, and she hesitates.

“I’m fine; leave Clara,” I say, not wanting her to be drawn into it. I hear her leave, and the door shut. 

“I appreciate you bought her out, but now you’re in a position where you owe me money, Alexis.” He stands staring at me. 

“I owe you nothing,” I argue. 

“You and Mr Pierce. You went behind my back and continued with that deal without me. That’s against your contract,” he 

argues. 

“No, me and Eros are dating, so us fucking has nothing to do with you, Elon. Nothing at all, you don’t control who I fuck outside of here,” I argue. 

“I do when you filmed it,” he shouts. I watch him turn the laptop, and my eyes widen. How the fuck did he get that? I stand and stare. The fact is, it proves nothing; it wasn’t uploaded on any websites, so he can’t prove anything. 

“It’s a personal video, Elon; only myself and I have access to it. It wasn’t business, and I wasn’t paid for it. It was personal, we’re dating, we’re allowed to do it as long as I don’t get paid or publish it,” I explain. 

“You got nothing?” He walks around the desk and stands in front of me. My head shakes.

“No, I said that,” I shout at him. 

“So he just happened to send you the amount he promised me the night before this was filmed?” He holds out a bank statement, which is Eros‘ bank. 

“He offered me money, not for that Elon. I had an issue with my apartment, and he loaned me money for a deposit on a new place for me to buy for myself,” I argue. Quickly thinking of a cover story for the money. “We’re dating. You can’t just assume him sending me money is anything other than that,” I say. 

“How about a contract,” he grabs something and slams it down. 

Shit. Where did he get that, or how? “How about the NDA he had some guy sign to keep it hidden?” 

My body runs cold. I can’t get out of it with the contract. The contract states the day I was paid and when it happened. I’ve signed it and everything after the video to confirm it was a done deal and completed. 

“As the contract states, you now owe me the entire amount, plus ten per cent. Then what I predict the income would be of that video being published.” He leans closer, and I step back.

Considering Eros is a high–profile man, it isn’t going to be a low number,” he leans into me, his mouth kissing my neck, and I step away, my back hitting against the wall.
