"Gideon?"
Just as Gideon was about to walk over and investigate, his roommate happened to pass by and enthusiastically called out to him.
Gideon slightly furrowed his brows, puzzled. "Did you just come from this way?"
His roommate nodded, not understanding why he asked. "I saw your back from far away. What happened?"
Gideon shook his head. "It's nothing. Let's go back to the dorm."
Maybe what he had felt just now was his roommate's gaze?
After the two left, a figure emerged from the woods, looking in the direction they left with a face full of resentment and a flash of murderous intent in their eyes.
Meanwhile, Lena, who was planning to go back to her dorm, was caught by Rumba, who asked her to help deal with some troublesome documents.
This wasn't the first time this had happened, so Lena had no choice but to go with him to the office.
"How's it going with you and Gideon?" Rumba asked with a smile as he sat in front of the computer, looking at Lena.
Lena paused for a moment. "It's pretty good now."
"Now?" Rumba keenly sensed the hidden meaning in her words. "It seems like you two have gone through some rough patches."
Lena nodded, not too concerned about this matter. "The problems have been resolved now."
Rumba had thought it would take them longer to sort things out. A flash of admiration appeared in his eyes.
"Both you and Gideon have very distinct and excellent styles. But even the most talented people need to learn to appreciate others' strengths and even learn from them," Rumba earnestly advised Lena.
Lena was startled. She hadn't expected Rumba's real intention to be this.
"I understand." Lena sincerely thanked Rumba, realizing that teachers indeed see further than they do.
She didn't want to talk to him at all and tried to walk around him.
Suddenly, Willington grabbed her wrist. Lena struggled to break free but couldn't, and she slapped him in response.
"What are you doing?" Lena asked angrily.
She hadn't revealed her address to outsiders, let alone Willington. He must have followed her to find this place.
After being slapped, Willington didn't get angry. Instead, he looked at her with a sinister gaze. "Why can you laugh and talk with Gideon, but you're not even willing to accept my flowers?"
Lena's eyes widened. "Were you the one spying on us today?"
She had suspected that Gideon was hallucinating due to lack of sleep. So it was actually Willington?
A sense of crisis immediately arose in her heart. She subtly turned her body to the side and quietly took out her phone.
