She had never seen a Bentley before, let alone been inside one. Her only knowledge came from the internet, where she had a rough idea of the logo.
Her jaw dropped instantly.
She had thought that driving a Mercedes was a big deal, but she didn't expect the other party to be so wealthy...
Eunice hid behind the wall, her heart beating faster. It was as if she was the one sitting inside the car.
She made up her mind. Finally, she had someone around who knew people from the upper class, and she was determined to seize this opportunity!
Beryl was completely unaware that she was being followed. She opened the car door and sat inside, gasping for breath. "I just finished class. Have you been waiting for long?"
Marcellus came in person today and changed into casual wear. He wore a white woolen cardigan with blue front grid patterns and a casual silk shirt underneath. His trousers were still black, and he wore white casual flat shoes. He looked seven or eight years younger.
"Not too long. I arrived a bit late," Marcellus said as he reached behind and took out a white paper bag with a huge luxury brand logo on it. He placed it on Beryl's lap, "There's a sweater inside. Try it on."
Beryl was wearing a cardigan today with a short-sleeved top underneath, so it was quite convenient.
However...
"Why did you suddenly think of giving me clothes?"
Marcellus raised an eyebrow and said mysteriously, "You'll know when you open it."
With curiosity and anticipation, Beryl opened the exquisitely packaged bag and found a square box inside. She untied the black bow on top and opened the box to reveal a long-sleeved sweater with the same pattern as his clothes.
"Does it look good?" She turned to ask for Marcellus's opinion.
Only then did Marcellus turn his gaze back to the small head sticking out of the sweater. He nodded with appreciation and said, "It suits you very well."
After seeing the pictures yesterday, he was sure that this style would suit her. Normally, she dressed very modestly and conservatively, leaning towards a sweet and gentle style.
Hence, something too extravagant might not suit her, but this style would look perfect on her.
Beryl wasn't completely convinced and asked, "Really?"
"Yeah, no wonder you're my girlfriend; you look even better than the models," Marcellus praised without hesitation, unable to take his eyes off Beryl, thoroughly enjoying the view.
