Finding Love in the Boss’s Embrace After Divorce novel Chapter 1241

Chapter 1241 Candlelight Dinner

When she first met him, she felt that he was overbearing and evil. Every time she saw his face, her first thought was not that he was pleasing to the eye or enjoyable, but that she despised him from the bottom of her heart.

At that time, she had never imagined that she would marry and even have a child with him one day.

Later, as they spent more time together, the misunderstanding became less and less. Instead, they were closer to each other. Gradually, she found that he was good, and from then on, they fell deeper and deeper in love.

It must be fate that had brought them together to where they were today.

She was glad that they didn't get separated despite the bumpy journey.

Her thoughts drifted far away. After a busy day, she was a little tired. After a while, she couldn't help but fall asleep.

The two of them slept very well. The sky outside the window changed from day to night, but they never let go of their tightly clenched hands.

At eight o'clock in the evening, Huston woke up first.

His tightly shut eyes trembled as he slowly opened them. The first thing he saw was the little woman sleeping soundly beside him. He paused for a moment and looked at her small hand that was quietly placed in his palm. He loosened his grip and sat up straight.

It took him a few seconds to come to his senses. He reached out to pull the quilt next to him and covered her with it. Looking at the slippers and leather shoes neatly placed at the foot of the bed, he felt as if a feather had swept across his heart.

She must be tired.

He was afraid of disturbing her, so he deliberately turned on the speaker, but there would be a prompt light on.

He walked over and opened the door. A waiter pushed a small cart outside the door. There were gorgeous gold and silver tableware, knives and forks on it, and a pink and white rose box below. The refreshing elegant fragrance came into his nose, and even his sleepiness was reduced a little.

"Mr. Lloyd, shall I put the food on the table for you?" the waiter asked politely.

Only then did the man move aside and let them in. He watched as they placed the things in front of the French windows one by one on the white tablecloth-covered round table.

There was a golden candle stand, white lace candles, and an exquisite flower box in the middle, as if it were another small and exquisite wedding scene.
