Family's Spoiling Kills: Reborn, I Seek Wild Revenge novel Chapter 1

My younger sister, Freya, spent every day dreaming of marrying the Alpha and escaping her Omega status.

One day, she realized how much she resembled Luna Vivian when she was younger.

She believed that when she stood before Alpha Howard, he would inevitably choose her—the younger, more beautiful version—over that faded, no longer young Luna.

To replace Luna Vivian, Freya carefully orchestrated a rogue attack, intending to kill her.

I arrived just in time to stop the attack.

My wolf inside me growled in warning—this plan was reckless, and the consequences would be severe.

On the way home, I tried to reason with her. "Alpha Derek is the strongest leader in the pack. He's ruthless, sharp, and his wolf senses every lie. You won't fool him forever. Eventually, he'll know, and when that happens, the entire family will fall with you."

She nodded, pretending to listen.

But I could feel it—her wolf, restless and eager, had no intention of stopping.

That night, at dinner, she slipped wolfsbane into my food.

I could feel the wolfsbane's effect spreading through me, and my wolf fought it, trying to heal me, but the pain was unbearable.

As I was about to lose consciousness, she whispered, "You're just jealous that I have a face worthy of marrying the Alpha. You ruined my dream, so I ruined you."

Then——I opened my eyes again, only to find myself back on the day she was about to get Luna Vivian killed...

A loud, furious wolf howl echoed through the sky.

Today, the warriors were inspecting the border, and a rogue attack had just occurred.

One of the accompanying healers had been gravely injured.

Freya rushed forward, her movements quick and calculated.

She knelt beside the woman, pressing her hands to the wound, feigning panic as she shouted, "Teacher, I've called for help, you have to hold on!"

Her face, perfectly made-up, twisted with urgency. A faint white glow emanated from her palms as she pretended to heal the woman.

But I knew—it wasn't real. The energy from her hands didn't enter the woman's body; it was just for show.

When the ambulance arrived, so did the reporters.

Facing the cameras, Freya exploded, "Don't you have any conscience? Why are you interviewing me at a time like this? Saving lives is more important!"

She turned to the paramedics, her anxiety showing. "She's been receiving my treatment for so long—please, doctor, you have to save her! She's my teacher!"

The doctor, clearly moved, nodded. "We'll do everything we can. Do you know her family?"

Freya shook her head. "I don't, but as her student, I can go with you and cover her medical expenses."

Her scent, sweet and innocent, was deceiving.

As she turned to leave, no one noticed that she had snuck the unconscious woman's cell phone into her pocket.

I watched her follow the ambulance, the image of a selfless savior. But I could sense the truth. She wasn't saving a life; she was taking it.

As the ambulance drove off, a luxury car pulled up half an hour later.

A man in a gray suit stepped out—Beta Kody, Alpha Derek's right-hand. His presence filled the air, strong and commanding.

I blinked, focused, and sent my sister a mind-link.

But this time, I remained silent, letting her lie.

She quickly replied, "It was a task my mentor assigned to me. I was just helping."

I simply murmured, "Oh," and closed my eyes. But she couldn't help herself.

"Fiona Hall, do you know who that injured woman is? She's Alpha Derek's Luna! He told me—I looked just like her when she was young. Once she's dead, I'll be the next Luna!"

Every time she said things like this, I tried to snap her out of her delusions.

But this time, I smiled and said, "Wow, congratulations. When you marry him, can you help me get a job at Silver Moon Pack?"

Her smile grew wide, thinking she'd won. "Mom and Dad were right. You were born to be a servant. I'll be the highest-ranked woman in the pack, and all you care about is working for someone else?"

At the moment, Alpha Derek's voice echoed outside.

Her eyes lit up, and she shot to her feet, eager to let everyone see her presence.

Before leaving, she turned to me and warned, "Don't show your face here. Don't ruin my chance."

We were twins, and she feared my presence would steal Derek's attention.

I wasn't worried. At this point, I just wanted to keep my distance.

Otherwise, when the blade fell on her, I might get drenched in her blood.

But then, she chuckled quietly. "Actually, on second thought… maybe you should show up."

She smiled, but I knew exactly what she meant.
