Jasper didn’t dare to see Jennifer in person, he was afraid Jennifer would blame him for deliberately hiding his identity.

Jennifer received an explanation from Jasper on WhatsApp the night when she appeared on the trending topic.

Jasper confessed to her that he was the big shot of the Manning Group.

He used to have a younger brother, but he committed suicide when he was underage. He was in his rebellious phase and jealous of his older brother who would inherit the family business in the future.

Jasper felt guilty, so he gave up his title as the Manning Group heir.

He went to the Juvenile Detention Center to volunteer, wanting to help those troubled minors and make up for not being able to help his brother.

And now, the reason he returned to the Manning Group is because he met Jennifer.

In Jasper’s eyes, only he had enough status to snatch Jennifer away from Brayan.

Jasper grabbed Jennifer’s hand and as soon as they stepped onto the dance floor, he saw Jennifer stop in her tracks.

Following Jennifer’s gaze, he saw Brayan elegantly dancing with Catalina, his arm around her waist.

“Let’s forget it, we’re not going to jump anymore.”

Knowing that Jasper cared about her feelings, Jennifer smiled and shook her head, “It’s okay, we’ll dance our own way.”

She took Jasper’s hand and he blushed immediately.

Brayan was dancing with Catalina and keeping an eye on Jennifer without saying a word.

He never knew that Jennifer could dance, and she was pretty good at it.

Next to her, Ruby leaned in to Donna and muttered, “This Jennifer is just too scandalous, isn’t she? There are some big shots at this party today, and some of them even know she’s Brayan’s wife. And yet she dares to dance with other men in public, especially after those rumors with that guy not long ago. I bet those rumors are true, Donna, you can’t just ignore this!”

Donna looked terrible, staring fiercely into Jennifer’s eyes.

The LeBlanc Group managed to “recover some of their stock price” through the business discussed at the party.

In VelvetRose, Jennifer has been promoted to team leader of VelvetRose–PG, and the former team leader Hailee was fired by Peter.

Catalina got fired for skipping work, and Nancy and Maggie, who used to be friends with her, had to bite the bullet.
