Including Catalina.

“What’s wrong with you?” Brayan noticed that Catalina was in a bad mood.

Catalina grabbed Brayan’s hand and pulled him into the corner.

“Brayan, I only told you…actually… the new technique that Jennifer mentioned…I came up with it.”

“What?” Brayan exclaimed.

Catalina intentionally “hissed,” “Jennifer came to me for help with her design, so I chatted with her about this new technique I thought of. I didn’t expect her to bring it up at the meeting as if it was her own idea…”

When Brayan saw Catalina’s eyes turning red, he turned around and was about to leave.

“Where did you go, Brayan?”

Catalina grabbed Brayan’s hand.

“I’ll help you get justice,” Brayan said firmly.

“Don’t…please don’t go…” Catalina desperately held onto Brayan, “You know, Jennifer…she’s../quite close to Director Peter, there are rumors in the company about their inappropriate relationship. A colleague even saw Director Peter hugging Jennifer at her desk during lunch today. Even if you go and tell now, no one will believe me. And after you leave, I don’t know how Director Peter will target me…”

Catalina’s voice got quieter as she spoke. At that moment, Jennifer finished her meeting and walked out of the conference room.

She turned around and saw Brayan and Catalina standing in the corner, holding hands.

Brayan was also looking at her, with a look of disdain in his eyes.

Jennifer thought that after Brayan saw her designs, he would either be impressed or at least acknowledge that she could do more than just be a housewife.

However, now it seems she was overthinking it.

Following her stomach, Jennifer silently returned to the office.

Brayan comforted Catalina for a while, then left VelvetRose.

Jamie showed up late, holding the oatmeal and corn pancake that Brayan asked him to buy.

“Mr. LeBlanc, this…”

Jamie handed the takeout to Brayan, and he could tell that Brayan wasn’t in a great mood.

These foods weren’t Brayan’s usual favorites, he knew they were probably for someone else, but he wouldn’t ask who.

Brayan took the takeout and casually tossed it into the nearby trash.

can.

Jamie was shocked, but didn’t say anything.
