“Hmm? What are you doing?”
Grady suddenly gave Jennifer a side–eye.
Jennifer was scared out of her wits.
“I…wanna know how you got to Priusiland?”
Jennifer found a topic to chat with Grady, distracting his attention.
“Why? Trying to trick me?” Grady shrugged and sneered, “I naturally have someone important helping me.”
Grady didn’t know much about Jaxon, didn’t even know what he
looked like. He just knew Jaxon was Catalina’s assistant. As long as he did what they said, he could make money and connections.
“The boat has arrived.”
Grady’s partner suddenly yelled out.
Grady immediately jumped up in excitement, with a face full of joy like he had just escaped from a disaster.
Grady’s lucky escape is like Jennifer’s total disaster.
Jennifer’s fingers and palms were covered in blood.
But she was so nervous that she had lost all feeling.
She had to push a little harder, push a little harder to cut the rope. Only by cutting the rope could she have a chance to escape.

Chapter 287
The rope had loosened a bit, but now wasn’t the best time to make a run for it.
Jennifer noticed that Grady didn’t have a gun on him, but his accomplice had a gun tucked in his waist.
There was only one chance to escape, she had to make the chances of success as high as possible.
The boat that sneaked into Cawhola was getting closer, it was an old cargo ship packed with people trying to sneak in for various reasons.
Under the cover of night, the ship and the people were like a sore on the sea.
“Hurry up, guys!”
The cargo ship slowly docked, and the crew shouted to hurry up.
Grady personally escorted Jennifer onto the boat, with his accomplice following behind.
The night sea breeze was strong and cold, Jennifer was still wearing the dress she wore to the banquet, and her body was instantly frozen.
She was forced onto the boat, with her hands tied behind her back gripping the rope tightly.
The cargo ship started up again and slowly left the dock.
“Hahaha, I’m free now!”
Grady was cheering when Jennifer suddenly broke free and kicked him in the groin.
