The Ex-Husband's Apology (by Sebastian Grey) novel Chapter 260

Chapter 260

While Jennifer was scrutinizing Ezekiel, Ezekiel was also checking out Jennifer.

“You’ve changed a lot, huh!”

Ezekiel finally came to this conclusion.

Jennifer smiled and didn’t say much.

She doesn’t even remember what she was like in Ezekiel’s eyes now.

Compared to her original self, the Jennifer she became was really different.

She thought if they just bumped into each other on the street, Ezekiel probably wouldn’t even recognize her.

Jennifer thought of Brayan.

Brayan didn’t recognize her either.

She used to think that Brayan was different from others.

The fact is, she was way off base.

Upon hearing Jennifer’s faint sigh, Ezekiel changed the subject.

“So many years have passed, haven’t you thought about going back to see your aunt and uncle? Actually, they still miss you quite a bit…”

Jennifer knew who Ezekiel was referring to as “aunt and uncle.”

Ezekiel noticed that Jennifer’s face suddenly turned cold

“Legally speaking, those two people have nothing to do with me anymore.”

And Jennifer didn’t think they would miss her either.

Ezekiel shrugged, no big deal.

“Oh, when I was on the plane, I saw a joke. Do you want to hear it?”

The topic changed so quickly, Jennifer was stunned for a moment.

Ezekiel used to love telling her jokes since she was little, always making her laugh out loud.

In Jennifer’s memory, she never heard a joke again after coming out of the Juvenile Detention Center.

When Brayan walked out of Marcel’s first–class ward, the first thing he saw was Jennifer standing against the wall in the hallway.

Even though there was still someone standing in front of Jennifer.

The person was wearing a white coat, covering part of Jennifer’s body.

But Brayan saw Jennifer’s face

Jennifer was laughing.

That was a very happy smile.

Brayan couldn’t remember the last time he saw Jennifer with such a smile on her face.

“Grandpa hasn’t woken up yet and you’re already so happy?”
