The Ex-Husband's Apology (by Sebastian Grey) novel Chapter 210

Chapter210

I thought all night, but couldn’t come up with an answer.

That night, Brayan didn’t come out of the general manager’s office.

We waited all night, but the divorce agreement document that Zackary and them submitted was still not up to par.

That night, Jennifer didn’t come home.

The next day, Curtis was the first one to arrive at work.

Because he went out shopping yesterday, Jennifer said he didn’t need to detour back to the office, just go straight home after work. So he took a nap at home yesterday, and he felt much better. He woke up early today and arrived at the office early too.

After clocking out, Curtis realized there was someone else in the office besides him.

“Jennifer? You… arrived earlier than me?”

Curtis realized something was wrong right after he asked, then he corrected himself, “You didn’t… stay out all night last night, did you?”

Jennifer yawned and rubbed her dark circles.

“Work made me happy.”

Curtis was at a loss.

“Did a rush order come in?”

“No, it was still for Treasure Jewelry Fashion Week.”

“Huh?”

Curtis cocked his head.

“Wasn’t the theme for Treasure Jewelry Fashion Week already decided?”

“Well, it was originally planned…”

Jennifer couldn’t help but sigh.

She and Curtis were chatting while going out to find a place to have breakfast, and unexpectedly ran into Peter downstairs at the Roscee Building. So the three of them went to a dim sum restaurant together.

“Jennifer, do you know that last night, out of the blue, Miranda actually asked me to have supper together?”
