“Wait a minute.”
Suddenly, Jennifer called out to him.
Devan turned around and pushed his gold–rimmed glasses to look at Jennifer.
Jennifer came up to him, looking serious.
“The emerald necklace you broke was designed by one of my employees, not me. You have to explain yourself to them.”
Devan just found it funny how serious Jennifer was.
He shrugged, gave a smile, then turned away, completely ignoring Jennifer’s words.
Jennifer let out a soft sigh.
“It seems like you’re not just targeting me, you’re just a bad no manners.”
Devan paused, turned back and gave a smile.

It’s like he was assuming Jennifer’s words, while also mocking Jennifer for not being able to stand him but also not being able to get rid of him.
Jennifer suddenly grabbed Devan’s wrist and collar when he least expected it.
Devan didn’t realize what was happening until Jennifer threw him over her shoulder and slammed him to the ground.
Beside, Sienna and Aliya were stunned and speechless.
Devan was lying on his back on the ground, more surprised and confused than in pain from the fall.
Wait, so he got thrown over the shoulder by Jennifer, a weak girl?
Devan blinked, everything in front of him was blurry.
Because his glasses fell off.
In Devan’s memory, he has been in countless fights, been beaten up by others as well, but being thrown over the shoulder by a woman, that was a first in his life.
Devan thought it was pretty cool, lying on the ground with his mouth wide open, laughing out loud, getting louder and louder, laughing so hard his shoulders shook.
Jennifer was standing by, thinking about whether to call an ambulance.
But when she was learning kickboxing and fighting, she remembered that this move didn’t cause fatal damage to the head, so Devan shouldn’t have been knocked silly by her!
Devan lay on the ground laughing for a while, then he got up by himself. At that moment, he vaguely saw someone handing him his glasses.
After he put on his glasses, Jennifer’s figure became clearer in his sight.
“Who is the employee that I broke the necklace?”
