As I was about to leave Jennifer’s office, I suddenly heard Jennifer’s clear voice from behind:
“Brayan… Are you really that eager for me to withdraw from the competition?”
Bravan turned his head.
No answer, no response.
“How about we make a bet instead?”
The bet made Brayan’s usually cold and indifferent eyes show a hint of interest for the first time.
“What’s the bet?”
Jennifer saw that Brayan’s interest had been piqued by her, so she said, “Let’s bet on who will win the Starlight Jewelry Design Competition this time, me or Catalina? If I win… you have to agree to divorce me.”
Bravan’s eyes were like a hurricane when he heard the word “divorce” from Jennifer’s mouth.
Don’t be fooled by Jennifer’s calm exterior, she was actually a nervous wreck inside.
She wasn’t afraid of not winning the jewelry design competition against Catalina.
She was afraid that Brayan wouldn’t accept the bet.
The silent time in the office was a bit longer than Jennifer expected.

Jennifer didn’t know how long they had been silent, finally, she saw Brayan slightly open his lips and say,
“Okay, I bet.”
After saying that, Brayan left Jennifer’s office without looking back.
Jennifer sat slumped in the chair, her heart pounding.
Did Brayan actually… agree?
Jennifer touched her chest, didn’t feel anything real.
Brayan, who used to resist divorce so much, now actually accepted her bet. Jennifer isn’t sure if it’s because Brayan has so much confidence in Catalina, believing she can definitely beat her, or for some other
cason.
But no matter what, she and Brayan finally took a new step forward in their long–standing stagnant divorce.
For Jennifer, whether it’s for her own brand or to divorce Brayan, this Starlight Jewelry Design Competition, she was determined to win and not allow herself to lose.
After Brayan left Jennifer’s company, he went to Catalina’s studio.
Before leaving, I took a detour to the flower shop and bought a bunch of pink roses.
“You said Jennifer also joined the Starlight Jewelry Design Competition?”
