The restaurant quieted down again, and the two of them continued to eat breakfast in silence.

Iris finished eating first, out of politeness, she didn’t get up and leave right away, but waited for Heriberto to finish eating too.

After Heriberto finished eating slowly and put down his knife and fork, she was about to leave when Heriberto called her again.

“The results of the appraisal are out, wanna take a look together?” he said.

Heriberto leaned back in his chair, watching her leisurely. He smirked, then took the sealed document and slowly opened it, pulling out the appraisal report inside.
