“Iris, I heard you were once again encouraging Reina to badmouth Mel.”

Just as Iris was about to sit in the car, Heriberto’s low, cold voice rang out again. He was talking to her and directly convicting.

Iris heard it, paused as she got into the car, and chuckled softly.

“Mr. Hale,…”

“Nathaniel.”

Nathaniel was about to speak up for Iris, but Iris stopped him.

Iris turned her head and glanced at Heriberto, giving him a slight smile, “Mr. Hale can feel comfortable however he wants, I don’t care.”

Heriberto glared at her, his dark eyes narrowing suddenly, and said in a low voice, “Iris, I warned you, don’t mess with Mel.”

Iris faced his cold gaze, looking calm and confident, “Mr. Hale can do whatever he wants to me, I’m ready.”

With that, she didn’t hesitate anymore, bending down and getting into

the car.

Nathaniel immediately closed the door for her, then squinted at Heriberto, chuckled, and got into the car from the other side.

The car quickly drove away.

Melanie looked at Heriberto and saw his gaze following Nathaniel’s car as it drove away. She called out to him cautiously and anxiously.

Melanie looked at him for a while, thought about it, and finally gathered the courage to ask, “Heri, Iris said she wants to divorce you. She has already signed the divorce agreement for you. Is she doing this because of Nathaniel?”

What she wanted to ask, of course, was not who Iris was divorcing Heriberto for.

She was wondering if Heriberto would actually divorce Iris, and when it would happen.

Mrs. Hale’s position, she had been yearning for it for over live years, every moment of waiting was torture.

“Don’t worry about me and Iris, just focus on preparing for your performance,” Heriberto said nonchalantly with his eyes closed.
