The highly educated female professor, would actually stoop so low as to compete with an ordinary woman using such despicable means to win a man’s heart?
Sophia hated herself so much not just because of Aedan, but also because at the banquet, this student didn’t give her face, making her lose face in front of a bunch of wealthy businessmen and celebrities.
The famous female professor from Ontaden Medical School was actually challenged on the spot by a foreign female student, losing all her dignity, which was really uncomfortable.
But, Sophia’s change in expression next was simply amazing, like a chameleon.
I don’t know what the director said on the phone, Sophia was frozen like she was suddenly acupuncture, her whole face muscles stiffened.
A few seconds later, her face quickly showed disbelief and then turned into overwhelming anger.
Obviously, under her anger, there was also a strong sense of fear and
unease.
Just then, there was a sudden “knock knock” at the door. Before Sophia could respond, Aedan had already walked into her office.
Iris turned to him and calmly shouted, “Prof. Steele.”
Aedan looked her up and down, saw she was fine, then nodded at her and asked, “Are you okay?”

Iris gave him a bright smile, “I’m good *
“Bang!”
As soon as Iris’s voice fell, Sophia slammed the phone down her shooting Acdan a look of anger and coldness, gritting her teeth and demanding, “Was it you who defended Iris in front of the dean?”
Aedan looked at her, his gentle expression turning sharp in an matant The gaze behind his lenses was like a cold blade, unforgiving His voice was icy as he said. “Sophia, you can’t be narrow–minded and ignorant, or you’ll only bring shame upon yourself
“Now, Ms. Aguilera is my student. You don’t need to worry about her anymore. If you want to stay at Ontaden University, stop abusing your position as a professor.”
He warned Sophia and then looked at Iris beside him, his voice returning to its usual gentle tone, “Let’s go.”
Iris nodded at him, then looked at Sophia and said, “Prof. Watts, thank you for your guidance during this time. I hope your future will be better, but also hope that we can part ways peacefully. Let’s get along when we meet again in the future.”
After saying that, she left with Aedan.
Watching Iris’s confident and composed figure, along with the calm and firm self–assurance in her words and actions as she entered her own office, and the way the dean treated her, Sophia realized belatedly that Iris’s identity seemed not simple.

Iris didn’t have breakfast, Aedan didn’t either. They went to the coffee shop next to the college together and ordered coffee and sandwiches.
Iris bought Aedan a coffee and formally asked him to be fer esse
“How did you manage to come and save me just in tite” the aket curiously
Aedan took a sip of coffee, then set it down. He leaned back in the chair, legs crossed, looking relaxed
The weather has started to warm up
Today Aedan was wearing navy blue trousers and a white shirt, with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows and two buttons of the collar undone, revealing his beautiful collarbones
Up there, it’s the sexy Adam’s apple sticking out
His gentle and lazy gaze was like the early spring sunshine, looking at Iris through the lenses, with a slight smile on his lips, and said slowly “I don’t know either, probably… it’s like a telepathy.”
Iris also looked at him, smiled, took a big bite of the sandwich on the table, and chuckled, “Mmm, this sandwich tastes really good. Prof Steele, why don’t you give it a try?”
Aedan raised his lips and took a bite of the sandwich Iris had made.
The taste does seem pretty good, at least he thinks it’s tastier than before.
“Since Prof. Steele and I are so in sync, we will definitely have great chemistry in our future research experiments,” Iris added.
