Chapter 166
Iris didn’t know what he wanted to do?
But it doesn’t matter, he can do whatever he wants, it has nothing to do with her.
The auction ended, Iris just put this thing behind her, after all, she had too much to do, such a small episode wasn’t worth her fussing over.
On a new Monday, Iris finally met her mentor, Sophia Watts.
Sophia was involved in an important medical research project. She was away for a while and just came back to work two days ago.
Sophia was the youngest female professor at Ontaden Medical School, only 33 years old, dedicated to research topics on drug development strategies and cancer immunotherapy, which aligns perfectly with Iris’s area of study.
Sophia was too busy to personally bring many students, this time she brought two students, one is Iris, and the other is a boy named Alex Bowman.
Today, it was Iris and Alex’s first time meeting Sophia.
At 33, Sophia was young, pretty, intelligent, and elegant. Iris quite liked her and also respected and admired her.
After all, becoming a professor at Ontaden Medical School at such a young age is not something an ordinary person can achieve.
Besides Aedan, Sophia was the second youngest professor at Ontaden University. And, there aren’t many female professors like Sophia in

Chapter166
Ontaden Medical School.
At noon, Sophia invited Iris and Alex to have lunch together, and chat about their studies and the new research project she is about to embark
“I invited one more friend, hope you guys don’t mind?” When we got to the restaurant, Sophia took a phone call and asked Iris and Alex for their opinions.
Iris and Alex met on the first day of school.
On the first day, Alex took the initiative to chat up Iris and asked her if she had a boyfriend.
When Iris told him she wasn’t single, Alex stopped bothering her.
After two weeks of getting along, Iris found that Alex was actually a pretty nice guy, polite and gentlemanly, not a bad friend at all.
“I don’t mind anyway,” Alex said, glancing at Iris beside him.
Iris laughed, “Prof. Watts‘ friend, of course welcome.”
Sophia said thank you and called her friend.
Because the restaurant was near the school, Sophia’s friend she mentioned arrived quickly.
What Iris didn’t expect was that Sophia’s so–called friend was actually Aedan.
When the three of them were sitting at the dining table discus g their study tasks for the next semester, Aedan walked in.
After scanning the room from the doorway, he walked straight towards their table.
Iris’s position was facing the door, and she accidentally made eye contact with Acdan as he looked over.
She didn’t know if it was her imagination, but she felt like Aedan’s gaze was all on her.
Out of the blue, she felt a slight hitch in her breath. Just as she was hesitating whether to stand up and say hi to Aedan, he had already arrived at their table.
He stood still, then said hi to Sophia.
“Hi. Acdan!”
When Sophia saw Aedan, her eyes lit up, she immediately stood up and went over to hug Aedan.
Aedan also gave her a hug, then quickly let go.
He turned out to be the friend Sophia was talking about.
Iris and Alex both stood up, giving Aedan a polite smile.
After Sophia let go of Aedan, she introduced them to each other. “These are my two students from this class, Alex and Iris.”
“Ms. Aguilera,” Aedan looked at Iris, smirked at her, nodded, and greeted Alex.
Alex had never met Aedan, but he had heard of him before. He shook his hand and looked at him with admiration.
