Chapter 135
Even in Ardiham, the Hale family couldn’t put on such a show, couldn’t say such arrogant words.
Charlie shook his head in silence.
But he already had a rough idea in his mind.
Who else could it be?
The Knighton family doesn’t live in Beachdell, they just visited yesterday.
And, same Cullinan, yesterday he saw three in the Knighton family’s yard.
Sure enough, he guessed it right.
Because they were in a hurry, Merlin and Valeria each walked out of the hospital building holding a child.
The two children were wrapped up tightly, you couldn’t see their faces at all.
Merlin and Valeria were dressed warmly, but their faces were clearly visible.
“It’s the Knighton family!” Megan couldn’t help but exclaim when she saw clearly.
But then again, who else could there be besides the Knighton family?
“Was the patient who stayed on the top floor last night also a member of the Knighton family?” she asked Charlie.

Charlie just stared downstairs, completely ignoring her.
“Who’s sick in the Knighton family?” Megan muttered to herself, then continued to look downstairs.
Behind Merlin and Valeria, Zayden escorted Iris out.
Looking down from upstairs, all I could see was a silhouette of Iris.
With her wrapped up so tightly and wearing a thick, floor–length down jacket, even her own mother wouldn’t be able to recognize her standing on the balcony.
“Who’s that young man hugging a woman?” Megan asked curiously.
“Merlin and Valeria’s son, Zayden,” Charlie finally answered her question.
Megan was surprised for a moment, quickly glanced at Charlie, then continued to stare downstairs, asking, “Merlin and Valeria are holding two children, right?”
“Is it because their daughter–in–law is giving birth here?” she guessed, muttering quietly, “No wonder they’re so arrogant, throwing around a billion dollars as soon as they open their mouths.”
If it’s someone else, Megan thought they had a big mouth, bold as brass, and couldn’t speak the truth.
But if the other person was from the Knighton family, she felt like everything made sense.
“A pair of grandchildren, Merlin and Valeria, are really lucky,” she said enviously, “No wonder they spoil their daughter–in–law so much, renting the entire top floor for her to live in.”
Charlie kept frowning as he listened to her muttering.

Chapter135
Watching Iris being escorted by Zayden to sit in the car downstairs, his eyes widened instantly.
Because in just two short seconds, he actually felt like the person sitting low in the car was Iris.
That move, so alike.
But then he quickly dismissed the thought that had just crossed his mind.
Just, when did Merlin’s son get married? How come he didn’t hear a single word about it.
The Knighton family has always been low–key, and their affairs have always been a mystery to the outside world.
Zayden got married and had a baby, nobody, including himself, had a clue, it’s just the way things go.
“Back then, if you had spoiled Iris a bit, now you would have a pair of grandchildren and be a grandma,” Charlie suddenly said.
Megan’s face fell and she glared at him angrily, “What do you mean? Are you still blaming me now?”
“Heriberto!”
Just as she was speaking, she suddenly caught sight of Heriberto, who had already woken up on the sickbed, lying on his side with wide eyes staring blankly in their direction.
