Chapter111
Zayden smirked, nodded slightly, and continued to eat breakfast with his head down.
Heriberto stared at him and suddenly asked, “Does Mr. Knighton know my wife? Oh, no, my ex–wife.”
Zayden heard that, smirked, put down his knife and fork again, and leaned back comfortably in his chair.
He looked up at Heriberto, with a smirk, “Where did Mr. Hale start with that?”
“I remember 10 years ago at Marie’s funeral, your father Sir Knighton came to pay his respects and comforted my ex–wife, who was just a child at the time.”
Heriberto kept staring at Zayden without blinking.
From his words and the way he was staring at him, Zayden was sure that Heriberto had guessed something.
He probably already knew that Iris’s disappearance was related to him and his father.
“Heh!” he suddenly chuckled, “Yeah, sure do.”
He admitted it gracefully.
He just wanted Heriberto to have a taste of it, to feel torn apart inside, unable to stand him but unable to get rid of him, and feeling helpless.
Let Heriberto torture himself.

Heriberto stared at his face with a malicious smile, and a hint of sharpness suddenly appeared in his eyes.
“Heriberto, you were sitting here all along!”
Suddenly, a sweet and gentle voice interrupted.
Heriberto frowned, turned his head, and saw Katrina standing next to him with breakfast in hand.
“Wow, what a coincidence, Mr. Knighton is here too.” Katrina went to see Zayden again.
“That’s really clever!”
Zayden nodded slightly, wiped his mouth with a napkin, and then stood up, “You guys enjoy your meal, I’ll take off first.”
As soon as the words were spoken, without waiting for Heriberto to say anything to Katrina, he just turned and walked away.
Finley quickly finished his breakfast and then left.
Heriberto’s face immediately darkened.
Katrina watched Zayden’s figure disappear in the restaurant, just about to sit down, but Heriberto stood up and said in a deep voice, “I’m full too, Ms. Powell, enjoy your meal!”
The things in the plate clearly hadn’t been touched.
After saying that, he also wanted to leave.
“Hey, Heriberto.”
“Hey, Heriberto.”
Katrina stopped him and said, “You haven’t eaten the toast you wanted

yet, I can’t finish it by myself.”
Heriberto stopped, turned to look at the toast on her plate, his
expression turned cold uncontrollably, but he didn’t say a word, he just walked away.
As soon as she arrived, everyone left, leaving her standing awkwardly by the table, without even having had a chance to sit down.
When did this neglect and rejection ever happen?
Her hand hanging by her side gradually clenched into a fist, her exquisite nails deeply embedded in the flesh of her palm.

After Zayden left the restaurant, he didn’t go back to his room upstairs, instead he took a car and left.
After the car left the hotel, he called Iris.
“Heriberto already figured out that it was me and my dad who helped you leave Ardiham.”
He said after the phone was answered.
Iris on the phone just gave a faint “uh–huh“,
“When you told me last night that Heriberto stayed at the same hotel as you, I knew he would figure it out.”
She smiled and asked, “So, have you guys officially met this morning already?”
“Yeah, he said my dad attended Madam Aguilera’s funeral and even comforted you for a long time,” Zayden said.
“Yep,” Iris wasn’t worried at all, “as long as it’s something Heriberto
