In the picturesque town of Oswalon, Iris sat in front of the TV, watching Heriberto’s heartfelt confession on the screen. She chuckled as if hearing a joke, then grabbed the remote and turned off the TV.

Due to the time difference, it was already past nine o’clock at night in the small town.

She was just about to get up and go back to the bedroom when Zayden came out from the kitchen with a steaming bowl of spicy meat sauce spaghetti, saying excitedly, “Iris, come and see what I made for you, hurry up and eat while it’s hot.”

Iris’s two little ones in her belly are almost 20 weeks old. Since she’s carrying twins, her belly is bigger and more noticeable than a regular single pregnancy.

I was so happy.

Eating right now is the most important thing for Iris.

Zayden raised his hands and pinched his earlobes, laughing like a big boy, “I don’t have this skill, it’s all thanks to Reese.”

He said. A chef in a neat chef’s uniform came out of the kitchen.

“That’s great,” Iris exclaimed.

“Hurry up and try it,” Zayden said, pulling out a chair for her.

“Uh–huh,” Iris nodded, sat down, picked up a spoon, and popped a big ravioli into her mouth.

Zayden sat next to her, looking at her satisfied and happy face, feeling genuinely happy too.

The taste was really amazing, just like Iris imagined.

She didn’t say anything, just gave Reese a big thumbs up without

Iris was satisfied, so Zayden was naturally satisfied too, he told Reese.

Zayden sat quietly at the dining table with Iris, watching her eat with her mouth full of oil, his eyes becoming increasingly tender and indulgent.

He passed a napkin to her and said with a smile, “Eat slowly, it’s all yours, I won’t fight you for it.”

Iris ate half a bowl in one breath, then looked up at Zayden and took the tissue from his hand, asking, “Why don’t you have a bowl?”

Zayden laughed, “Watching you eat makes me more satisfied than eating by myself.”

Iris looked up at him again, didn’t say anything, and continued to bury her head in eating her ravioli.

Zayden was the same age as Heriberto, but their personalities were completely different.

Because Merlin is getting old, her trust fund is mostly managed by Zayden now, so the two of them have been spending a lot of time together recently.
