On the other side, Keith escorted Dorothy downstairs. Just before Dorothy was about to get into the car, he suddenly spoke, “Ms. Acosta, what do you think of my mother?”
Dorothy stared at him in confusion, “Auntie is fine, what’s wrong?”
“I mean, not just this issue.”
Keith smiled slightly, “I don’t know why, but I feel like you are very kind, at least to me, you are different from those other women. If you don’t mind, can you be my mother’s goddaughter.”
Dorothy was surprised, “Me?”
You’ve seen it too, my mom’s care for you, it’s even more than me, Keith shrugged, “Ever since she met you in Dewbury, she’s been much happier than in Daewynn. If my dad and the elders at home knew, they would definitely approve.”
Dorothy lowered her eyes, feeling a strange premonition that if she refused, she would regret it.
She also didn’t know why she had this kind of premonition.
“Did I make you feel uncomfortable?”
Dorothy raised her eyelids at this point and looked at him, “No, it’s just that I’m about to leave Dewbury soon, and I’m worried…”
