Drowing In Mr. Scott's Love novel Chapter 38

"Why is Sam Scott looking for you?"

In the narrow carriage, Richard Scott's voice sounded a little cold.

There weren't many people in the world who would call out their father's name without any emotion.

Abby Miller looked at him in surprise. "How did you know that he had looked for me?"

After asking, Abby Miller felt that she had asked too much.

Wasn't this nonsense? Sam Scott had been stopped her in YS Group. There were so many employees in YS Group, and one of them would definitely see it.

Richard Scott obviously had no intention of answering this question.

Abby Miller had no choice but to smile. "Actually, it's nothing much. We talked about some matters of life. What a pity..."

She sighed deeply and continued, "Obviously, I have a different opinion from your father, so we didn't have a good chat in the end."

When she said this, there was no trace of unhappiness on her face, and she was even a little angry.

Richard Scott saw this and did not respond.

After a while, he nodded and said, "It's enough that you have the same outlook on life as me."

He was overbearing but also arrogant. After saying that, an imperceptible smile appeared on the corner of Richard Scott's mouth.

Unfortunately, Abby Miller did not notice it carefully.

Soon, they returned home. The housekeeper, Jack, had already prepared dinner and was waiting for them respectfully.

Abby Miller's status was different now. Naturally, she was qualified to sit down and eat with Richard Scott.

After dinner, Richard Scott was used to going to the study to deal with some overseas work problems.

Abby Miller loved this period the most every day, because she could get rid of Richard Scott.

But tonight, just as Abby Miller was about to leave, she had barely taken a few steps when Richard Scott caught her by the collar.

"Where are we going?"

The man lowered his eyes and asked lightly.

"Go back to my room and review my homework."

Abby Miller answered honestly.

"Bring the homework to the study to review. Every day in the future."

Richard Scott announced directly.

"What?"

Abby Miller thought that she was hallucinating and asked in disbelief, "Can I... can I refuse?"

She could still endure staying with him during the day, but she had to spend the night with him. How could he let her live?

As if he could sense her resistance, Richard Scott narrowed his eyes.

Usually, when he did this, it meant that Abby Miller was in deep trouble.

"As a good 'maid', the first thing you have to learn is to follow the master's orders. What I ask you to do, you must obey unconditionally."

Richard Scott looked at Abby Miller and said seriously.

From the beginning to now, he had said these words countless times.

However, Abby Miller did not seem to remember. He said it once and she forgot it once.

Abby Miller was speechless. She could only put on a dejected expression and say, "I understand."

Richard Scott was rather satisfied with her performance.

But he was very dissatisfied with the fear in her eyes.

"Abby Miller, are you afraid of me?"

Richard Scott's brows were tightly furrowed. His eyes were like a pool of black water, bottomless.

Hearing that, Abby Miller waved her hand repeatedly. "I'm not afraid of you. I'm just not used to it."

"Hey, it's me."

Tina Fisher's voice sounded especially enthusiastic.

"Well, Tina, what's the matter so early?"

Abby Miller asked knowingly.

Tina Fisher was also a person who didn't know how to be polite. She immediately smiled and said, "Haha, don't pretend to be stupid. Didn't I ask you to do that yesterday? What do you think? Did you tell Mr. Scott?"

Abby Miller was speechless.

This guy really didn't beat around the bush.

Feeling helpless, Abby Miller had no choice but to say, "Tina, give me some time. I really can't talk to Mr. Scott in my current position. It's not that I don't want to help you."

"So, you haven't told him yet?"

Tina Fisher sounded a little disappointed.

"I... haven't found an opportunity yet."

Abby Miller sounded a little embarrassed. She was still thinking, "According to Tina Fisher's character, she might blame me next, right?"

However, unexpectedly, Tina Fisher said sensibly, "It doesn't matter. I know your situation. But Abby, can you find a chance as soon as possible? I really can't wait any longer..."

Speaking of this, Tina Fisher's voice suddenly became very aggrieved and choked with sobs. "Today in the studio, I was bullied again. Anna Shaw made me embarrassed just because she was a big shot. She even laughed at me for being an orphan, but I couldn't refute a single word..."

Hearing this, Abby Miller immediately frowned.

Although she was not so close to Tina Fisher, they grew up together and still had some feelings for each other.

Moreover, Abby Miller was also an orphan. Every time she was laughed at, she knew how to feel, let alone Tina Fisher's status in the entertainment industry. It was conceivable that she has been bullied.

So, Abby Miller's heart softened and she said, "Tina, I'll help you ask as soon as possible."

"Thank you, I'll treat you to dinner when we're free this weekend."

On the phone, Tina Fisher thanked her again. Finally, they hung up the phone.
