After having all the gifts loaded, Lesley took out his card from the pocket with trembling hands. He was so nervous and thrilled that he had no idea what to say.

“Well, Mr. Lee, here is my card. I am at your disposal if needed. Besides, I run a financial group, which engages in all kinds of financial stuff. If you want someone to deal with the financial work, I could offer you the most capable employee.” Lesley hurried to say.

He was afraid if Maximilian would simply leave impatiently before he finished. If so, he would end up feeling embarrassed. However, Maximilian then took over his card.

Actually, Maximilian didn’t intend to take it at the beginning. However, what Lesley just said drew his attention.

He knew that a capable financial officer was as much important as shareholders and board of directors.

If there was something wrong with the finance, the company would definitely fail. So he needed a loyal and honest financial officer.

What was more, Lesley just claimed that he could offer the most capable employee for financial work. That was what drew his attention.

Maximilian looked at his card, where there written his name, ‘Lesley.’

“Okay, Lesley, I will take your card.” Maximilian said casually.

Hearing that, Lesley nodded and didn’t continue.

After Lesley had left, Maximilian then said goodbye to Flora.

And he reminded her once again that she needed to keep it as a secret from Victoria.

Maximilian then returned to Connor’s villa. He stayed there for a while.

Connor said to him, “Mr. Lee, I just got a threatening letter.”

“What was written on it?” Maximilian casually replied.

Connor shook his head, “No, it’s only a common one.”

Hearing that, Maximilian smile. He then tore the letter apart. He didn’t care since there was no useful information on it.

Connor was really amazed by his move. Of course, he never deemed himself brave enough to do so. That was why he admired his bravery and gut.

Maximilian just viewed it nothing to be afraid of. Besides, the letter was not even convincing enough to threaten anyone.

Maximilian then uttered, “It’s covered with useful crap. Don’t worry. Just throw it away.”

Connor nodded.

Meanwhile, there stood a young man outside the villa.

Connor soon noticed him. He could tell that this man must be here for trouble. He was rendered a bit panic and then hurried to remind Maximilian.

Not until then did Maximilian turned around to look into the man’s eyes. He could also tell that he must be a skillful and fierce killer.

Though it was just a young lad, he still looked tough and horrible.

The young man curled up his finger provocatively while looking at Maximilian, “Come out.”

The young man huffed, “Since then, you should know that you are going to be killed!”

While speaking, the young man suddenly initiated an attack. Though he only attacked with bare hands, Maximilian could tell that both his hands were actually as sharp as knife, which was hard to dodge.

But Maximilian only looked at him coldly and simply said, “You are powerful. But you could never defeat me.”

What Maximilian said seemed to go beyond his expectation. And what made him more shocked was that Maximilian actually managed to dodge easily.

Noticing that, the young man went even madder. Then he started to take it more seriously.

“Good. You are indeed a powerful fighter. But no one could survive as long as I go all out.” The young man sneered.

However, Maximilian still ignored his seemingly threatening words.

As the young man shredded part of Maximilian’s tops, he laughed. “Huh, I was even wondering how powerful you would be.”

The young man started to be triumphant as he deemed himself the winner.

But Maximilian just looked at him as if he were a fool. He said casually, “You think you can defeat me? What are you proud of?”

The young man then turned livid. He still believed that Maximilian must be pretending. So he took a step backward and suddenly shot him with a shuriken.

As Maximilian noticed that, he hurried to squat down and cover his underbelly.

At this moment, the young man was thrilled as he deemed that Maximilian must be hurt. Now he looked so proud of himself.
