Don't Try to Escape, My Wife! novel Chapter 1627

"I didn't say anything."

Tony obviously sounded less confident.

Olivia couldn’t bear to hear him say so, so she straightaway grabbed his collar and asked word by word, "Do you dare swear to God that you didn't say anything just now? And you did not mention something’s happened to Jacob? Tony, do you think I'm deaf? Or do you think I'm a fool?"

While saying, there were tears in Olivia's eyes.

The woman who had always been so strong suddenly looked like a fragile doll. Tony wanted to give two slaps on his own face.

Seeing that they could no longer hide it anymore, Nicole had to come forward and pull Olivia's hand back, comfort her and ask her to sit down. She whispered, "Something’s happened to Jacob in the overseas battlefield. Their commando team lost contact after carrying out their mission. It's been three days now, and we didn’t hear anything from them, many people think their chance to survive is miniature."

"No way!"

Olivia subconsciously refused to accept it, but her tears were falling down.

Nicole knew she was sad, but there was no other way now. She could only hope Olivia to hold on.

No one knew what to say. The corridor was very quiet at once.

The doctor was stunned when he opened the door, but he still whispered, "The sixth princess is OK, she’ll be fine after having a rest."

"Thank you, doctor."

Tony reacted immediately and hurried in.

Seeing Tony's care towards Sienna, Tim asked curiously, "Are they lovers?"

"Tony and Sienna grew up together, they’re childhood sweethearts. Tony doesn’t treat anyone well, except Sienna. Tony was not in the country when something happened to Sienna, otherwise he would never let Sienna lose a finger."

Davon knew them well, and everyone understood after his brief explanation.

Olivia was in a bad mood. Nicole could only let the others stay while she accompanied Olivia back to the room.

"Don't think too much, Samuel said it may be a good thing that we don’t hear anything from them now, that means there is still hope of them being alive."

Olivia was in a trance.

She knew best why they separated. At the beginning, she didn't catch up with Jacob's helicopter, and she had no way to contact Jacob when she was pregnant. Now since he was in danger, she could not help him at all.

From the moment Jacob left, Olivia felt that she and Jacob had lived in two different worlds and spaces. Now, she didn't care about anything and didn't want anything. She just wanted to break the obstacles between the two worlds and find the lover she missed.

Olivia wiped her tears, looked at Nicole and whispered, "Nicole, I'm going to find him."

"Are you crazy? It's an overseas battlefield! No one can go there! And the battle there is very brutal, look at yourself now..."

"I'm going to find him! I'm going to find him with our kid!"

Olivia was a stubborn mule. Ten bulls couldn’t even stop her when she had made a decision.

Nicole understood and knew it well, but she still wanted to convince Olivia. Olivia whispered, "If something’s happened to Samuel, can you sit still?"

She turned around and wondered for the first time whether she should let Olivia go.

Finally, Nicole called Booth and Laurence.

They heard about what happened to Jacob. Booth didn't say anything. Obviously, he wanted to go with Olivia, but Laurence spoke.

"Let her go. It's not a good thing for someone to have strong obsession, but what's the meaning of living without obsession?"

Since that was what they both said, Nicole can't stop her anymore.

She called Finn and the gang, and ordered those from the Night Elf Empire to escort Evelyn all the way to the overseas battlefield.

Hearing Olivia wanted to go find Jacob, Samuel knew he couldn't stop her. He also assigned some people to Olivia in the hope that Olivia would be safe.

Booth didn't say anything, but he had packed his things up and delegated the business work. He looked like he was going to accompany Olivia to the end, which made Olivia difficult to reject his offer anymore.

After obtaining Audrey and Xander’s consent, Karina also decided to set out with Olivia.

Initially, Nicole wanted to follow, but there were still a lot of things for her to do, and Evelyn had tried her best to stop her. Nicole only then stayed, but she was still full of worry and guilt.

Olivia held her hand and said, "Don't worry about me and don't be sad that you can't go out with me. You should be happy and have a good life, Nicole. Everyone has their own persistence and obsession, I'm happy to do it for my love, and I hope you can understand me."

"Olivia!"

Nicole hugged Olivia tightly and burst into tears.
