“Who is that?”

Nicole asked out of curiosity.

Samuel saw Phoenix’s number on the phone and laughed, “Is it called telepathy?”

“The telepathy between you and her?”

Samuel hurried to explain hearing what Nicole said.

“Stop it. She’s my sister only. I mean the telepathy between Davon and her.”

“It seems you have a strong survival instinct.”

Samuel hurried to give Nicole the phone.

“What?”

“Answer the call. I have nothing to talk with her.”

“Nope, she’s not calling me.”

Nicole refused and gave the phone back.

Samuel was embarrassed and had to answer it.

“Phoenix, what’s going on?”

“Mr. Green, it is horrifying.”

Phoenix said in an elusive and nervous tone and frightened Nicole.

“What happened? Take it easy. How is it horrifying?”

Nicole’s words calmed Phoenix down and he said hurriedly, “Nicole, someone sends me a birthday gift. It’s exactly what I want, but only Davon knows what I like. So, don’t you think it’s his ghost?”

“Have you lost your mind writing your book? There’s no ghosts in the world.”

Nicole blamed her with a smile.

Phoenix heard and hurried to say, “Yeah, if true, the ghost will come into my dream, and we must have met already.”

Her voice was filled with a tinge of sorrow.

Nicole felt sad and wanted to tell her the truth, but nobody knew whether there was someone watching them all the time.

Samuel muffled, “Go out to refresh your mind if you are in a bad mood. Nicole and I now live in the Country F, your hometown. Come back and your elder brother misses you.”

Samuel laughed, “Don’t you forget Laurence and Lucas are still on the ship of her family?”

“I think Evelyn just asks her staff to escort them.”

Leo was confused.

Nicole told him how Phoenix thought there was a ghost, and it made Leo burst into laughter.

The atmosphere inside the car was harmonious and warm, which pleased Samuel.
