“They’re g–gone Erin!” I panic ore, sort of hoping to find Kane who could potentially help us out of this mess however see none of them in our previous spot.

Where have they gone?!

This is the worst ridicule I think I have ever faced… right up there beside the way I had looked when Kane had first spoken to me on my judgment day!

What was worse about this scenario though was that I was now one thousand percent destined to let Kane down.

I was trusted to move out of his sight for all of ten seconds and now I’m stuck in some damn cage to flash my breasts for a cheap applause.

It was tacky, dehumanising and embarrassing: for myself and Erin!

“Her!” Erin suddenly sneers, as I turn to follow her wild stare which leads straight towards Arianna who stands on a patch of grass

with both Talon and Anthony by her side who both look concerned.

Her face remained stale but her eyes glimmered with sheer amusement and pride for what she had done… I could see it… but I could only think one thing, where was Kane and Seth?!

With that thought, as though my very prayers had been answered, the trucks came to a screeching halt along with the showers from above our heads stopping instantly.

I move closer to Erin, as we both shivered and huddled together for warmth under the freezing temperature which the water had

left us in.

“Uh… there seems to have uh… been an error tonight folks! Forgive us!” The older guys voice rings out, before being greeted with an uproar from the invested crowds (dominantly male at that too) who were disappointed at the abrupt end to their free show.

Males rush towards our said truck, before seeming to scramble nervously to unlock the cage for us – gesturing with their hands for

us to make a move to climb out.

We shuffle towards the exit gap, teeth clattering together from the cold, before we still for a moment not wanting to make the small jump from here down on to the grass.

If I jump, I’ll most definitely have to use my hands, which means flashing everyone through the wet shirt which was what we had so desperately tried to avoid.

“FUCKING MOVE OUT OF MY WAY!” I turn on my heels to hear a thunderous tone, before catching a glimpse of Kane himself as his eyes held a deadly fury.

Crap…

He shoves the guys closest to us who had just unlocked the cage, as one of them falls down fully before scrambling to create space between himself and his Alpha.

He’s so pissed off…

“SIT DOWN AND Ill be able to lifT YOU OUT!” He demands, pointing with his finger as I slowly bend with my knees before plopping down onto my butt with a thick gulp.

I be careful not to remove my arms, before he wastes no time on reaching up to grab my waist, lifting me down to meet the grass

Seth copies the action with Et, before Kane wastes not a moment more before his hand finds the back of my neck and he guides me out of the scene as quickly humanly possible.

We pass by Arianna, Talon and Anthony on the way towards the exit gates.

My feet kick the grass and stones clumsily from his force

Kane doesn even pay them a glance as he seems to be taking us straight

the grip of his hand on my neck becomes fiery and sore.

I can’t even move my hands to stop him from hurting me… for that movement right now would be far worse for me!

“K–Kane…” I attempt to use my voice, which only seems to spark sheer rage from within him.
