Jackson knew very well that his father wanted to carry Plato so he instantly handed Plato over to his father and said, “Have a look and see.”
Atticus happily carried Plato in his arms and checked his diapers. Plato’s diapers had actually just been changed and were still as clean as a whistle.
Tiffany rolled her eyes when she saw that Jackson was no longer carrying Plato.
Jackson was almost in tears, he had no other choice but to hand Plato over to Atticus. What was he supposed to do about it?
During dinner, Plato was sipping on his milk in his baby carriage next to Summer. Summer would occasionally play with him.
Tiffany genuinely respected Summer, she had thought that Summer would only take care of Plato temporarily before she grew tired of it. However, it was clear that Summer enjoyed it and was doing a good job. For those reasons, she felt completely at ease with Summer taking care of Plato.
Suddenly, Summer turned to look at Tiffany and asked, “I’ve been so busy looking after Plato that I haven’t been able to meet your mom recently. Are you sure it’s okay leaving her alone for so long?”
Tiffany thought the man sounded decent based on Summer’s description. “Alright, then. When should we get them to meet up? Why don’t we arrange for it to fall on a weekend? I’d like to join in as well. Let’s all grab some food, and we can leave them alone later. I’d be happy if they can get along with each other.”
Summer agreed without any hesitation and said, “Sure, I’ll arrange for it to fall on the weekend. We’ll treat it as a family reunion. We’ll meet up at Jackson’s White Water Bay Cafe. The food there is good, and the atmosphere is splendid as well. Remember to reserve seats for us during the weekend, Jackson.”
Finally, it was Jackson’s turn to speak. He had felt alienated since he could not join in their conversation earlier. He said, “Have you finally found a use for me? Sure, no problem. I’ll let the employees know beforehand.”
