my private detective can basically confirm that my daughter is Yvonne. 

“I’m not sure what’s going on these past few days, but she has been staying home.” 

She continued, “So, the private detective can’t get her DNA for a DNA test. I’m getting anxious

“Yvonne?” Caroline thought that her name sounded familiar. After thinking for a long time, she

Marietta asked, “Do you know her?”

Caroline mused, “I have an idea.” 

“So soon? Tell me!” Marietta said excitedly, completely losing her usual cold and stern attitude.

behind the cup Yvonne used.” 

Marietta immediately agreed to her idea. “All right. That’s a good idea. I’ll leave it to you, Carrie.” 

“No problem.” Caroline said, “I’ll invite her immediately.” 

“All right, good! You know me very well, Carrie. I’ll make sure to thank you when I finally meet my 

daughter.” 

“Mom, you don’t have to say that. I’m going to call her now.” After Caroline was done, she hung up 

the phone and called Yvonne.

“Ms. Yvonne, did you have a breakup? Would you like me to lend you a listening ear?” she asked 

softly. Her voice had some allure that could grip people’s hearts. 

Yvonne gradually became less irritable, and she hugged her knees. 

She said, “He was the one who agreed to date me, but I don’t know what the hell happened to him. 

He’s been treating me colder ever since he went abroad. 

“At first, I thought he just needed some time to get used to his life abroad. But a week ago, I went to Macldo to see him, and he told me never to see him again.
