“I already know which family adopted my daughter!” 

Sure enough, Caroline’s mood improved. 

“Which family is it?” 

“The Hacketts! We still haven’t found out who my daughter is, but I’m sure we’ll find out soon.

“Mom…” Caroline sobbed.

“I think you need to hire a therapist for Caroline,” Marietta said to Kirk. 

She had pulled him aside after telling the rest she was washing fruits. She was worried about Caroline’s mental state. Although Caroline put on a strong front, she was actually very vulnerable. 

“I’ve already asked Sean to take care of it.” 

Marietta was relieved to hear that. “Just let me know if you need anything.”
