When Caroline got home, she inadvertently noticed Kirk already in the kitchen, busy cooking. She 

put her bag away and sneaked up to Kirk before embracing him from behind. 

“Don’t move. You’re being held up.” 

Kirk smiled in the middle of cooking when he heard this. “I can’t give you any money, but I can 

give you my body.” 

Caroline’s face went red. “Who says I want that?” 

“Then take my life.” Kirk turned around and wrapped his arms around Caroline’s waist to lift her

Under Kirk’s deep gaze, Caroline’s ears went red as well. She turned her head unhappily and said, ” 

Put me down.” 

Kirk started to caress Caroline’s body with his fingers. “You’re already in my arms. Do you think a 

thief would let you go at this point? Babe, you’re so naive.” 

Caroline was so embarrassed that she thumped Kirk in the chest. “Meanie! You’re the naughty one. 

Kirk turned off the stove and gently held Caroline’s wrists together. He intentionally licked his 

teeth and said, “That’s right, I’m a meanie. This meanie is going to eat his prey now. Bye bye, little 

rabbit.” 

“Ah, no! Don’t!” Caroline started to beg. 

“I was wrong. Don’t eat me, Mr. Meanie. I’m just a poor little rabbit.” Caroline looked at Kirk with 

innocent and wide eyes. 

The sight of her ignited the flames of his desire. He brushed his big hands over Caroline’s waist, 

making her shiver. 

“Kirk …” Caroline moaned, her voice turning soft and charming. 

He slowly tilted down and captured her lips, savoring it like an extravagant meal. 

Things started to heat up as they touched each other, filling the room with their pleasure.

unsatiated. 

Caroline said, “I don’t want to shower.” 

“Then I’ll help you shower.” 

Hearing that, Caroline shot upright. “No need. I can do it myself.” 

Kirk was amused by her reaction. “Then go quickly. I’ll warm up the food.” 

As Caroline walked toward the bathroom, she started to tell Kirk about the plans for Marietta to 

come over on Wednesday. 

“Marietta wants to come by?” Kirk’s eyebrows immediately scrunched up. He hadn’t expected that 

the very thing he had been worried about would become a reality so quickly. 

“That’s right. She wants to meet you.” Caroline stuck her head out from the bathroom. “Are you 

free on Wednesday?” 

Kirk lowered his head. 

Caroline couldn’t see Kirk’s expression from where she was. So she didn’t notice the grim look on 

his face. 

Since she hadn’t gotten an answer after a long time, Caroline started to feel suspicious. “What is 

it? Are you busy on Wednesday?” 

Kirk had been coming home on time these days, so she had assumed that he wasn’t very busy 

lately. 

“If you’re busy, I’ll turn her down.”
