"Mr. Jones, do not be so ..." Jane was not used to having such close contact with him. Her face was burning hot, and she instinctively tried to push him away.
"This is the last time." He reached out to lift her chin and looked her in the eye. "Next time if you still call me Mr. Jones, I am going to kiss you directly."
Jane saw the word "seriously" in his eyes. She knew this guy was not kidding, so she quickly changed her words. "Jeffery."
"Your tone should be a little bit softer."
"Jeffery......"
"You should pronounce the last syllable sexier."
Jane almost gnashed his teeth. "Jeffery..."
This time, before she could finish her words, Jeffery had already lowered his head and kissed her lips.
"Mmph..." Jane's eyes widened as she looked at the magnified handsome face in front of her.
"This is your reward." Jeffery smiled and pinched her cheeks. "Little girl, I'll give you three months. Within those months, you must fall in love with me."
The next day, Jane followed Jeffery to work at the company and officially assumed the position as secretary to the president.
However, by the time they were on their way, she had already made a deal with Larry, asking him not to reveal their relationship at the company.
She didn't want all colleagues to gossip that she had hooked up with the CEO.
But things went contrary to her wishes.
"Are you Jane?" As Jeffery walked to the cash register, another of Jeffery's secretaries looked at her with a strange look.
"Yes." Jane nodded, not noticing the strange look.
"Since you are new here and unfamiliar with the daily affairs of the CEO, let us start with simple things like serving tea and water. Follow us so you can learn."
The secretary continued, "There are a few documents on your table that have been signed by the president. They will be sent to each department. The one given by Susie is extremely important. You must send it to her personally."
"Yes,ma'am."
But someone next to her deliberately stuck out her foot and tripped her.
Jane was inattentive and stumbled to the ground. Susie took the opportunity to pick up the coffee on the table and poured it over her.
"I'm sorry, Miss. Carter. I accidentally slipped my hand. You shouldn't argue with me over such a small thing, right?"
The woman took a few pieces of paper and pretended to wipe it for her. Before Jane could speak, Susie's sarcastic voice sounded again, "That's hard to say. She's now my cousin's favorite. Maybe one day he will go and tell on you and make you lose your job."
Hearing that, Jane, who was wetted with coffee, turned around and glared at her.
"Oh, Secretary Jane is furious. Hurry up and get away, or you'll be in trouble when she falls." Susie smiled and gave her another stab.
Jane gritted her teeth, grabbed the napkin next to her and ran out directly.
The laughter of those people rang.
She went to the bathroom and cleaned up the coffee stains on her body. Looking at herself in the mirror, she wanted to cry.
