An Understated Dominance (Maria Vittori) novel Chapter 1559

"Ms. Camron!" Dustin's expression changed as he witnessed Lana falling to the ground after getting shot. Acting swiftly, he assisted her to her feet.

Lana was bleeding profusely, her complexion turning paler, and her pupils dilating. Without second thoughts, Dustin took a silver needle and closed Lana's pressure points to stop the bleeding.

Just as he was about to channel his true energy for treatment, gunshots came from behind.

Even more intense gunfire erupted from outside, enveloping Dustin and Lana in a barrage of bullets. Stones were sent flying, and dust billowed in the air.

After the onslaught, a fully armed team of assassins emerged from behind the trees.

"Thought they were tough, but it turns out they're quite disappointing," their muscular leader quipped as he lit a cigarette and exhaled smoke.

A large number of assassins were standing by at all entrances and exits of the estate.

"Boss, with our firepower, who can stand up to us?" One of the assassins chuckled.

"That's true." The muscular man grinned.

"Okay, gather the bodies, and let's get the reward from Mr. Mosey. Tonight, we're drinking till we drop!"

This announcement immediately boosted the morale of the assassins. The promised payment was generous enough to fund them for years.

"Boss! We've got a situation!" One of the assassin henchmen's expressions suddenly turned grim.

Following his gaze, everyone saw a man covered in blood emerging from the smoke.

It was Dustin!

Dustin didn't stop, continuing to reap the lives of the assassins. At this moment, he had transformed into a merciless force, using brutal and bloody methods. None of his victims were intact.

"He's over there! Shoot!" The muscular man panicked. But he was too slow, unable to follow Dustin's movements.

He could only desperately raise his gun and wildly shoot. The result was not only a failure to harm Dustin but also injuring his own people.

All the assassins were wiped out in just ten seconds, leaving only the trembling, muscular man. His gun had run out of bullets.

"How did this happen?" Staring at the scattered bodies, the muscular man was dumbfounded.

As an assassin, he had never encountered someone as terrifying as Dustin!
