An Understated Dominance (Maria Vittori) novel Chapter 1553

The Camron family instantly panicked as soon as Scott said those words. They had done nothing wrong but found themselves victims of this mess.

"Mr. Mosey! Mr. Mosey, please have mercy!" Corey pleaded, dropping to his knees in fear. "The Camron family has always followed the law. You can't just harm innocent lives!"

"Mr. Mosey! You're a person of great standing. Please spare us!" The Camron family members panicked and pleaded.

However, Scott remained unmoved. He casually remarked, "Your pleas won't work on me. If you want mercy, ask Ms. Camron. Your fate rests in her hands."

"Lana! What are you waiting for? Just agree!" Corey shouted in desperation, "Are you going to stand there and watch your loved ones die?"

"Uncle Corey! Dustin saved my life; I can't betray him!" Lana frowned deeply.

"Oh, screw that!" Corey erupted, "Our survival is more important! Dustin's life can't compare to the lives of your entire family!"

"Uncle Corey, our family is not insignificant. I refuse to believe Scott would dare to act recklessly!" Lana insisted.

Even if Scott were seeking vengeance, the Mosey family, being well-known and respected, wouldn't resort to open and audacious murder.

"Not dare to act?" Scott chuckled and snapped his fingers.

The next moment, a gunshot rang out.

A young man from the Camron family shuddered and looked down. A bloodied hole had appeared in his chest, and blood sprayed out continuously.

The man gasped, unable to utter a word. His vision darkened, and he collapsed on the ground, succumbing to death instantly.

"If you've got the guts, come at me instead of bullying the weak here! What kind of man are you?" Lana gritted her teeth.

According to the martial world's rules, harm shouldn't befall one's family, but the man before them had no care for such a rule.

"I'm a peculiar person. The more you seek death, the more I deny it. It's those who fear death that I refuse to let them live." Scott smiled.

"Now, make a choice. Will you continue to protect Dustin, or will you safeguard your family?"

"I ..." Lana hesitated, conflicted. On one side was the person she cared about; on the other was her family. She genuinely didn't know how to choose.

"Judging by your indecision, it seems you haven't made up your mind. Let me help you again." Scott snapped his fingers, and a gunshot echoed.
