Jayden raised an eyebrow, having no idea what was happening. But he could see that Elena disliked Dustin.
"Since when did the Murray family have such low standards? How could someone like him enter our residence?"
Hearing that, Sheila quickly explained, "Jayden, Dustin is my friend."
"Friend?" Jayden sized Dustin up.
"Sheila, you must know that with your status and identity, not everyone can be your friend."
An insurance agent was part of the lower class. To Jayden, someone like Dustin was not even fit to shine his shoes.
"It's hard to say whether I'm qualified to be her friend. But I know that although you're Sheila's cousin, you're clearly not a kind person," Dustin retorted.
Roxanne glared at Dustin, scolding, "How bold of you to say that! Who do you think you are?
"How could you accuse my brother? Bastards like you deserve to be beaten up!"
As she spoke, she lifted her whip and was about to strike Dustin.
But Jayden raised his hand to stop her.
Then he asked coldly, "You're Dustin, right? I don't think I've offended you, so why are you accusing me?"
"Accusing you?" Dustin snorted.
"Don't you know what you just did? You pretended to care about Sheila, but you secretly schemed against her.
"And because of what you did, Sheila fell off her horse. Did you think no one would notice?"
"W—what nonsense are you talking about?"
Jayden's eyes widen in panic. He could feel his heart racing.
But when he realized he lost his composure, he forced himself to calm down so no one would notice.
In that split second, his true character was revealed. He really was a cunning person.
"You know if I'm saying nonsense or not. Just for a horse, you harmed your cousin. Are you even human?" Dustin questioned coldly.
At that point, Jayden lost his cool and shouted, "How outrageous! Don't blame me for beating you up for all the bullshit you're saying!"
"You bastard! I'm ordering you to apologize to my brother now! Otherwise, you're going to pay for this!" Roxanne threatened fiercely.
Elena tried to make matters worse, too.
"Mr. Murray! If I were you, I'd cut off his tongue and feed it to the dogs to release my anger!"
Meanwhile, Dahlia observed from the side with indifference. She did not say a word the entire time.
They could not believe he would do such a shameless thing to get attention. Everyone thought Dustin was acting like a madman, attacking anyone as he liked.
"Dustin, you must be mistaken, right? I believe Jayden isn't that kind of person," Sheila said while shaking her head.
"You can never judge a book by its cover. You can never know what people are planning," Dustin reminded her.
Jayden retorted, "Dustin, you claimed I've sabotaged her. Do you have any evidence?"
"That's right! Without any proof, you're just making baseless claims! Show us the evidence if you can!" Roxanne shouted as she pointed her whip at Dustin.
"If you don't have evidence, then you're spouting nonsense! I'll cut off your tongue to teach you a lesson!"
"You want evidence? Fine." With that said, Dustin walked toward Gale.
He examined the horse and asked, "Before the race started, Jayden touched Gale's head. Everyone remembers that, right?"
"So what if we remember?" Roxanne snapped.
But Dustin did not respond. He lightly traced Gale's head with his fingers. When he touched a slight bump, Dustin pulled hard.
A black steel needle stained with blood was pulled out from Gale. Dustin held the needle up for everyone to see.
"There! That's the evidence all of you wanted!"
