Susan went back to her own office. She heaved herself to her chair and breathed a sigh of relief. She was almost scared to death just now and felt like her little heart was going to override. But fortunately, Manuel didn't throw her out of his office. And she felt her heart still flutter with fear. Susan swore to herself that she must not deal with things so impulsively next time. Then she adjusted her emotions and opened the blue folder given by Manuel.
Once she opened the folder, she found that Manuel had arranged all the work plans in it for her. He had it all mapped out for her, even including when did these projects need to start and to be inventoried. If he hadn't brought her the folder himself, she wouldn't believe he had done it for her. He had almost done her half a year's work plan, and all she had to do was follow his plan.
"Manuel, you little bastard. I can't believe he has done my work plans but still made a fool of me deliberately today. If he has shown it to me sooner, all this wouldn't have happened."
Although she scolded Manuel in her heart, she was still touched inexplicably by him. Susan couldn't believe he had considered so much for her at work. In her capacities now, she couldn't think out the work plans he had made for her even if she had died several times.
Susan looked over the work plan. She carefully read through it Manuel had given her from A to Z. The more she read the plan, the more she admired Manuel. This time, she admired him from the bottom of her heart.
"No wonder Dad liked Manuel so much. If I were the boss, I would also treat him very well. He's a business genius, I suppose." Susan thought.
Susan read the file and combed through her work simultaneously. She was so absorbed in her work that she forgot to go off work until the door of her office was knocked.
"Come in."
Then Manuel opened the door and walked in.
Susan was still busy at her work and didn't look up at him.
"Able to understand?" Manuel asked in a low voice.
Stunned, Susan paused and then immediately looked up to see him.
"Why does he come here to find me amazingly?" Susan thought,
And she hurriedly answered, "I'm learning."
"Stop it, and leave work early."
Susan was shocked. "Is he trying to care about me? Is he trying to get me to leave early and take care of myself? How can I have a blessing in disguise after what I did today?" She thought,
When Susan let her imagination run away with her, Manuel said, "I need you to be with Hannah."
Susan compressed her lips. She was being sentimental, she knew it.
"There was no way he could suddenly shift his attitude to me." She thought.
"What happened to Hannah?" Susan still felt a little nervous as she heard Hannah's name.
"Oscar has left Kensbury City, and Hannah now is at the villa alone."
"Oscar, that asshole... cough, cough." Susan paused for a second. She had known by now that Oscar was Manuel's cousin. Then she would look for trouble if she spoke ill of Oscar now. So she quickly changed her address to Oscar and asked, "Did the Commander go back to the Capital?"
"Yeah," Manuel replied. He was very clear about Susan's thoughts.
"I'll go to her place right away," Susan said actively.
Manuel nodded. He didn't say anything more and left Susan's office.
"Susan, it's enough!"
It seemed Sarah couldn't take it anymore. So she was just mad at that moment. If Sarah hadn't been so proud of her status, she probably would have fought with Susan directly.
"What, feel you're shamed?"
"Susan," Hannah said.
Susan was speechless. She thought when dealing with a woman who was up to no good, Hannah shouldn't give her dignity. But Hannah had declared her attitude, and she didn't want Hannah to be unpleasant. Stopping speaking, Susan sat down beside Hannah with tolerance. Sarah was furious with her. But she wasn't here today to quarrel with this irrelevant woman. And she wasn't willing to waste time on Susan because she needed to talk to Hannah about something serious.
Adjusting her emotions, Sarah said, "Hannah, I want to talk to you, alone."
She wanted to send Susan away with an excuse.
"Susan doesn't have to leave here."
A hint of darkness flew across Sarah's eyes.
"Please say what you want to say if you don't mind, but if you mind, you can come here another day." Which meant that I wouldn't get rid of Susan for you.
Or you could visit here again when Susan wasn't here.
"She's so indifferent to me." Sarah thought. And the anger that was suppressed by her could erupt at any moment. She stared at Hannah venomously, thinking, "This woman has been reduced to such a situation. Then why is she still able to hold herself so high?"
