The spirit ship swiftly sailed forward, while Jared and his group were heading toward it.
When they were only a few miles away, Jared and his companions halted.
“Demonic Cultivators? There are actually Demonic Cultivators on this spirit ship!”
Wyatt sensed the other party's presence.
“These Demonic Cultivators, they didn't even bother to hide themselves. Could it be that these guys are the pirates we've been talking about?”
Hartwin was quite perplexed, wondering why these Demonic Cultivators didn't conceal their aura.
It was important to understand that in the Ethereal Realm, Demonic Cultivators were considered low in status. Therefore, many of them hid their identities and concealed their aura.
Yet now, these Demonic Cultivators had actually come over without any attempt to conceal themselves.
“Should we inform the others and make our escape first?”
Upon realizing that they were Demonic Cultivators, Wyatt couldn't help but feel a surge of anxiety.
“No need for now. Let's see what's going on.”
Jared shook his head.
Jared had met his fair share of Demonic Cultivators, and contrary to popular belief, they weren't all malevolent or harmful.
It was merely that the Ethereal Realm had placed a filter over the demonic cultivators. On Demonia Mountain, there were quite a few Demonic Cultivation sects, and they were all surviving just the same.
The Demonic Cultivators lived just like any human cultivators. There was no difference at all.
Given that these Demonic Cultivators came over without any attempt to conceal themselves, there probably wouldn't be any trouble.
Even if they were to run away now, there was essentially no escape. Jared decided to take a gamble.
They wagered that the Demonic Cultivators on the spirit ship wouldn't harm them.
Swiftly, the spirit ship arrived in front of Jared and his companions. Upon seeing this, Arnold called out loudly, “Fellow cultivators ahead, why are you lingering here? We're dangerously close to the stormy sea area. You should leave as quickly as possible!”
Upon hearing Arnold's words, both Wyatt and Hartwin started to feel somewhat embarrassed.
They once harbored a deep-seated hatred for the Demonic Cultivators too, when everyone was rallying against them.
However, upon reflection, it seemed like the Demonic Cultivators hadn't really caused them any harm. This hatred must have been a legacy from the time of the great war between celestials and demons.
After all, it had been thousands of years, and not all Demonic Cultivators were necessarily bad.
“Mr. Lund, have you all been living on this ship all these years?” Hartwin asked incredulously.
“It's not quite like that. Hundreds of kilometers from here, there's a small island where we all used to live.”
“Whenever the sea's calm we'd head out to sea to hunt demon beasts. This time, a storm had whipped up in the storm-prone sea area, and we came over to scavenge for treasures,” Arnold explained.
“Indeed, there's a small island nearby. I wonder, could it serve as a temporary rest stop for us? We still have quite a few friends who are left hanging in mid-air, with no place to land,” Wyatt asked.
At that point, Wyatt had come to trust Arnold.

Why there are 5102 chapters and I can only see 5086? Thanks...
Truly an epic, could very well be a movie series just like the Lord of the Rings....
