“I said Mr. Xandros has been captured by someone from Imperial Beast City,” Remus repeated in an undertone with his head bowed.

“How did that happen? Didn't anyone notice someone from Imperial Beast City sneaking into our camp? Are all those on patrol dead? Who's on duty tonight? I'll have his head!” Lucian bellowed.

His initial impression was that someone from Imperial Beast City had taken Xandros away while the latter was in his tent.

“King Lucian, I accompanied Mr. Xandros to the outskirts of Imperial Beast City and ran into their people. Mr. Xandros ended up getting caught by them.” Left with no alternative, Remus could only recount everything that happened to Lucian.

After listening to the account, Lucian furrowed his brows, a look of confusion in his eyes. “Is there someone else who is your match in Imperial Beast City apart from Yuven?”
