Elgado slammed his palm into Skyler's back, and she immediately spewed a mouthful of blood, her face pale as a sheet.

Jared's brow furrowed. His eyes filled with a murderous glare.

“Listen to me, young man. You can save the girl's life if you behave; otherwise, she'll die...” Elgado threatened Jared once again.

Emiliano and Avery were also repulsed by the tactics employed by the guardian. However, given the current situation, there seemed to be no other viable option to rein in Jared.
