Theo pinched Sierra's cheek gently, not even sparing Melody a glance as he spoke softly, "Just enjoy the game."

"Melody, play this one." Douglas was unwilling to let Melody sit there embarrassed, so he quickly changed the topic.

Daniel glanced at his cards while clarifying for Sierra, "Theo didn't help. It's just that Sierra has a sharp mind and remembers the cards well."

Melody didn't believe it. That kind of skill was something only a genius like Theo could have. Sierra? A woman who had done nothing but chase after Benson? No way.

"Sierra is tired. I'm taking her back to rest." Theo pulled her up and carefully helped her wear her coat before reaching for his own.

"Go on ahead." Yvette beamed at how attentively he cared for Sierra.

Everyone else enjoyed watching the couple's affectionate dynamic—except for Melody, who was visibly displeased. She stood up and followed them. "I'm feeling a little tired, too. Theo, could you give me a ride back?"

Sierra tilted her head, blinking up at Theo.

"Douglas will take you."

"We grew up together. I know everything about him."

Sierra sensed the hostility and provocation in her words but only responded with a light chuckle. "There's no need for the trouble, Ms. Jones. If I ever want to know something, I'll just ask him directly."

Without sparing Melody another glance, she turned and gave Theo's sleeve a slight tug before the two of them walked into the room.

Standing in front of the closed door, Douglas let out a long sigh. For once, he set aside his usual carefree demeanor and spoke seriously to Melody.

"Have you given up yet? Theo genuinely cares about Sierra. They have a very good relationship. Let it go."
