"Calliope, you're just jealous of how well we treat Lisette. There's no need to act like this!" Valerian said, looking up at Calliope with a hint of disdain in his eyes. He couldn't believe how much he was starting to dislike Lisette. Sometimes he wished she hadn't been part of the family at all.
"Look, I'm not trying to make everyone revolve around me," Calliope replied coolly. "It's just that some things need to be set straight, and now's the time to do it."
"Valerian, don't get ahead of yourself. I haven't even started talking about the Jewell family's secrets or the Miracle Doctor's tales!"
With a sly grin, Calliope began to unveil more shocking revelations.
It turned out Lisette and a few of her friends had been bullying other classmates like a gang of mean girls. They'd been cruel, and Lisette was the ringleader, cigarette in hand.
Rumor had it that Calliope was the troublemaker, the one who was always up to no good. But the videos told a different story. It was Lisette's face, clear as day, on the screen.
The classmates were stunned. Initially, everyone had sided with Lisette. But as video after video played, even the blurry ones were unmistakably her. It was Lisette torturing small animals, Lisette picking on helpless classmates, Lisette acting like a delinquent.
More evidence piled up: recordings of Lisette plotting against Calliope, proof of her spreading rumors.
Calliope hadn't needed to explain herself before, but that didn't mean she lacked evidence.
A single video could have been faked, but the sheer volume of videos, combined with testimony from victims, made the truth undeniable.
People who had once stood by Lisette now looked at her with disbelief. They realized they never really knew her. The supposed angelic Lisette had a much darker side.
"Is this really Lisette?" someone whispered.
"Oh my God, she's terrifying! How could she be like this?"
Lisette glanced at Valerian and Horatio.
Despite the evidence, they still couldn't believe it. They frowned at Calliope, frustration etched on their faces.
"Calliope, that's enough!" Horatio snapped.
"Why are you doing this to Lisette?" Valerian added, his voice tinged with anger. "Does ruining Lisette's reputation make you happy?"
They were clearly displeased with Calliope's actions.
Calliope shrugged, a smirk playing on her lips. "Actually, it does. And there's still more to come!"

This is starting to be the same twister of abilities as Cassandra Yates and Tiffany. But question is, why the hell Silas can't just open his mouth and tell Caliope that she's the one whom he has in his heart. He would prevent a lot of misunderstanding. Seems like despite capability of talking with modified arctic wolf, she's not like telepathic....

That's weird, in the first chapters there was said that her bio parents and bros doteď on Caliope but then they adopted Lisette, but this chapter suddenly says otherwise. Did author forget what he wrote?...
