A Divorce After My Rebirth novel Chapter 469

"As for you, you were by her side, time and again, especially when she was most vulnerable. Regardless of how she feels about you now..." Dylan continued gravely.

"..."

"You were once her anchor!" Dylan emphasized in a heavy tone.

Irwin furrowed his brows, contemplating the weight of Dylan's words.

Indeed, he had a point.

Given the dynamics between him and Natalie, was he any less deserving of condemnation than Cedric?

"Keep an eye on Clyde's people," Irwin repeated, his voice turning even colder as he contemplated the past.

Whatever happened, Natalie must not discover the truth about their history.

However, Dylan appeared even more serious as he said, "Sir, you know how Mr. Yarbrough's people are. If we intervene behind the scenes, I'm afraid it would be...!"

It didn't take a genius to figure out the implications of Dylan's words.

Clyde's people were in Wexford all year round and had an extensive network. If Natalie instructed them to find something, any information she sought would be swiftly obtained.

If there were any interference, a powerful man like Clyde would immediately notice, and it would backfire on Irwin.

Irwin's frustration intensified upon hearing Dylan's caution. He rubbed his temples, trying to alleviate the emerging headache.

"So, what do you suggest?"

"We should approach Ms. Walker," Dylan advised.

Natalie?

"Exactly. If Ms. Walker finds out you're actively preventing her investigation, it will only fuel her determination to dig deeper," Dylan elaborated.

In Dylan's view, whether it was Irwin or Cedric trying to obstruct Natalie, their efforts would only expedite the unfolding events.

But if they didn't intervene, it wouldn't be long before Natalie learned the truth. She may even know in less than three days, given the capabilities of Clyde's people.

"Can we erase it?" Irwin pondered as he looked at Dylan.

Dylan responded with a tinge of resignation, "Over the years, numerous individuals were privy to what transpired."

In other words, erasing all traces was not only a monumental task but likely impossible.

Moreover, Natalie had already initiated contact with Clyde's people. So, attempting such a thing under their watchful eyes would only complicate matters further.

"So, are we to let her discover the truth?" Irwin's voice dripped with growing frustration.
