Inferno’s brows twitched as he sneered, “Hah! must’ve underestimated your abilities. Interesting that you could find out that Nocturno’s my brother. What a shame, though- why does it matter?” 

He had come here with a simple objective, which was to capture the villa’s owner and interrogate them to find out who killed Nocturno. 

Even brief descriptions would be enough for him to deduce the culprit. After all, only a few people were capable of killing him. 

“Are you belittling me?” Xena’s strong presence surged. After becoming the goddess of war, she paid more attention to her ego. She wouldn’t tolerate such an attitude from others. 

“Xena Summers, my brother came to you just to savor the feeling of sleeping with the goddess of war. Even he had dared to do so–do you think you’re a match for me?” 

“What about me?” a voice interrupted Inferno. 

Chain Asura appeared before him. 

“You must be the Asura from the headquarters! You seemed well–prepared, but what a 

have underestimated my true powers. Very well. I shall send you both

Inferno made his move after he was barely done speaking. Taking on two people at once, he still managed effortlessly. Indeed, his abilities were far better than Nocturno’s. 

Within just a minute, Xena was caught off guard. She was struck and was sent flying like a broken kite. 

Without Xena controlling Inferno, Chain Asura was also kicked. He stumbled back as his face fell. 

He knew that he and Xena would perish tonight if the fight persisted. Inferno’s abilities were far superior to what the intelligence had described. 

“Fighting all day in my house–how annoying! 

On the brink of consciousness, Xena heard a familiar voice. She saw a blurry figure standing before Inferno. “Is this… Felix’s voice?” 

Inferno furrowed his brows. “And who might you be?” 

Felix seemed extremely displeased, especially with Inferno. “Because of you, I have to sneak around in my own home. Enough with your nonsense!” 

The next moment, his hands suddenly reached out to Inferno. The latter didn’t have time to react–his neck was snapped before he could even see the movement of Felix’s hands.

Not far away, Chain Asura was perplexed. Inferno was a Super S–rank wanted criminal who defeated him and Xena easily. How was he just killed like that? How absurd! 

Felix turned around and smiled as he saw Chain Asura. “Long time no see, Chain.” 

He swallowed as he stared at Felix in disbelief. It’s you! Mr. Zeller?” 

Smiling, Felix nodded. “Hah! Who knew we’d meet each other again?” 

Chain Asura was a subordinate of Felix’s fellow apprentice, Delilah Roth. He was a loyal one who paid many visits to Eden Village to find her. Hence, he and Felix naturally knew each other. 

“Thanks for saving us, Mr. Zeller.” Chain Asura realized that Felix was Delilah’s fellow apprentice–no wonder he could kill Inferno instantly. 

“You’ve killed him yourself. None of this has anything to do with me,” Felix replied. 

Being able to team up with Xena meant that Chain Asura had some sort of authority, too. Hence, Felix had appeared–otherwise, things would be hard to explain. Chain Asura was conflicted. 

Just then, Xena, who had been unconscious, started convulsing violently.
