The Primordial Record novel Chapter 1488

Chapter 1488 Dawn Of The Supreme Era (3)

Eva had assumed the guise of an Archangel among a thousand legions of Archangels charged with supervising a quadrant of reality that was too close to the Primordial Domain of Light than she was comfortable with. Still, orders were orders, and Rowan had never led her wrong.

She could have taken the form of a Sovereign or a Power if she wanted, but being an Archangel was a strict requirement from Rowan for this mission. She was not the tip of the spear, her role was more of an overseer. frёewebηovel.cѳm

Eva had learned not to question Rowan, she could troubleshoot the plan that he gave, which was something that he always welcomed, no matter how stupid of a spin she placed on the questions she asked, he was ready to accept them all, but she was getting to find out that most of the concerns that she brought forward were already accounted for, and even those she was confused about began to unravel itself in ways that baffled her, displaying a preternatural knowledge that Eva could not comprehend, Rowan knew too much.

For instance, Rowan had tasked her to take over a specific Archangel in an unknown Legion among thousands of Legions so close to the Celestial Domain that it should have required extreme knowledge of the Celestial Legion, but he had managed to smoothly achieve all of this in one swoop.

However, this was not what was most surprising to her, he had somehow been able to discover details about this Legion and their activities that should be impossible for anyone to determine, even before the heads of the Legion gave the orders, he already seemed to be aware of them, making her suspect at first that Rowan had somehow infiltrated the ranks of the Celestial for a long time, but that could not be possible, right?

She did not know how close she came to the truth with that speculation. With his Second Reflection sent into a possible future, during his time inside the material universe, he had become an Angel, infiltrating the Celestial Domain for hundreds of millions of years, living the life of an Angel, an Archangel, and a Sovereign, he had learned much about the Celestial Legions and it was with this knowledge that he was aiding Eva with for this mission.

Eva had been given details about the movements of the Legion, the tasks they were set out to accomplish, and the right assignment she should occupy for her to gain more benefits, ensuring she could complete her mission with the most efficient method possible.

The Nyx Legion, headed by a dozen Powers and a thousand Sovereigns, under which there were a billion Archangels and ninety-nine billion Angels, became an open book for Eva, whose task was simple: ingrain herself into the Legion and begin to slowly fill up their ranks with Rowan's Angel.

This was where the Angels of Rowan began to showcase their true advantage over other Celestial beings, for they were not just made from pure Light, but Darkness as well, and each of them had the ability of Fusion and Resonance, which meant the Angel could merge with other entities to boost their powers. This was the basic foundation of this entire plan and the only method Rowan would be able to seize the Nyx Legion without alerting the Primordial Domain and the Celestial Creators of his actions; he would simply be fusing his Angels with those of other Celestial Creators, taking them over from the inside. Eva had her eyes peeled, watching this process, especially among the lowest ranking of Angels whose advantage over their counterpart was not that massive, it was simply two consciousnesses battling out for who would lead, and due to the shock and inexperience suffered by these normal Angel, they were quickly possessed by the unknown forces inside their bodies.

There were some special Angels that had tougher souls and spirits, and against all odds, they were able to fight against the influence of the unknown forces inside their consciousness, they did not survive for long as Eva quickly crushed their souls.

For every Angel lost here, there were already explanations in place to satisfy the heads of the Legion, but she was delighted that the number of Angels that were able to break out of the battle was a small fraction, barely ten thousand, such a loss could be justified.

In the battle of consciousness among the Archangels, Rowan's forces had even more of an advantage, because most Archangels under him had two souls due to the result of fusion and Resonance, so they could easily suppress the souls of the Archangel they were assigned to take over.
